So on Sunday, we decided to eat lunch at the place we had planned on going to for dinner, so we could order a pizza to go for later that evening! Worked out pretty perfectly! We were scheduled to pick up at 5:30. It wasn’t ready when we arrived, no biggie, but at 5:40, they informed us it would be another 15 mins…ugh…I want to give props to Heather…she offered to buy us a drink while we waited, which was super nice of her!! I declined, but my hubs did have a beer!! In the end, it was worth the wait…the pizza was delicious! This is pretty much an oasis in a state which seems to be experiencing some culinary challenges. It looks like a blend of lowbrow chaos to someone giving some thought of how the place should look - love it.We ordered 2 cocktails listed in the menu. They were both infused with ginger. Then I ordered a beer while my partner had a white Russian.We also ordered pizza, the Whodunit. It was good but there was a long wait for it. My partner said it was better the next day. I plan on ordering a sandwich the next time.Parking: There are a number of parking options. On a Saturday night, it wasn't too difficult to find street parking near this place. There is a lot of seating so they must get extremely busy, when we visited we had a hard time finding a seat but we came in the middle of lunch - not complaining, just an observation.I tried their version of the French Dip sandwich, I was hoping they would have a Reuben but the French Dip works and it was quite tasty. My partner ordered a salad. She had been here before and she told me that the salads are huge and delicious. Her salad was huge, she told me she was pleased with her order.Vegetarian options: There are items that are vegetarian friendly.Parking: There is a lot of parking but during peak times, these spots can fill up quickly. So I placed my order and wrote a comment and said I needed it at 1045. Right after I placed the order online the manager call and asked to make sure . “5 stars for the VEGAN veggie stuffed pizza!! ?? PHENOMENAL. It hurts a little when I fall for a chain bc mom and pops have so much heart and uniqueness, but man, they nailed this vegan pizza that I fear for my new years resolutions ? A vegan friend of mine actually recommended it with videos to prove how awesome it was so I couldn't resist getting one the coming weekend. The family size was enough to feed two people for 3 separate meals and it air fried back to life perfectly all weekend. The dairy free cheese was so creamy and melty, and OMG the middle was stuffed with zucchini and artichokes (this was recommended, you get to choose but now I HIGHLY recommend it!) and on top were olives, an onion blend, and mushrooms. Sheer awesomeness. I felt like I robbed the place walking out of there the thing was so heavy and huge and baking it at home was a breeze with easy instructions. You can order ahead or there, and they make it subway style in front of you while you wait. For all you non-vegans out there- Beware if you have a vegan friend, they just might feed you this delicious delight and you wont know it was dairy free its that impressive as it is delicious and savory. We ended up with pork sausage with some oregano sprinkled on top as a substitute. “Godfather pizza was yummy, but forgot to inquire about getting it on thin crust. The regular crust is too thick for us, but we still enjoyed the pizza with lots of toppings and cheese. Actually had too much sausage and barely any mushrooms or peppers.Should not charge for using credit cards nowadays, as that’s the price for doing business.
