Hot Springs National Park is a great urban park with a welcoming visitor center and plenty of shopping and dining options on Main Street. The polite Forest Service Officers offer helpful information without overwhelming visitors. Although swimming in the springs is not allowed, the park offers beautiful views and spacious bathrooms. The historic bathhouses provide insight into the medicinal properties of the hot spring water. Hiking trails like the Hot Springs Mountain Trail Loop lead to scenic spots like the tower, making it possible to explore the entire town in one day.
