“First we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf, got in quite fast. Very friendly staff we sat and ate dinner with lalo around 6:30. Didn’t get serviced until 6:45, when he came to the table is was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall he did a great job and we got our food quickly, but every time he would approach the table he would have an attitude. The catfish was great, and my husband enjoyed the grouper oscar. 4.3/5* overall“

“We arrived close to closing time after a day at the lake. They graciously let us in and served us as if they just opened. The staff were kind, professional and efficient. “The restaurant is housed in a former Mexican restaurant that had been closed for some time. From what I understand, this is the same owners that had another restaurant in town called El Padrinos. The food is tasty and the portions generous. Only bad side is the parking situation, and getting in and out of the only entrance/exit in the parking area.“

“Chicken tenders are soooo good and fresh. Love this place but they need to work on the outside. If you didn't know better you would think they were out of business. Weeds all around. When I recommend this place they always say "didn't that place close". Fix up the outside and make it appealable.“

“We had a combo plate of fried catfish and fried shrimp, coleslaw baked potato and hush puppies, with cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. All was very good . The hushpuppies need improving. Our waitress, Adrianne, was very nice and checked frequently to see if we needed anything. Everyone was friendly and the new Cajun Boilers has been renovated into a very very nice restaurant. We'll be going back.“

“Ranchero Jalisco…is what I got and it was delicioso! I’m not sure if it’s an “Authentic Mexican Dish,” but I recommend it. Came with obligatory chips and salsa and of course a selection of Mexican beers are available. Service was snappy and my waiter had a very upbeat attitude. He earned the 20% tip I added.“
