The other customers were so welcoming, especially when they realized we were not from Jonesboro but just passing through. “We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

“My friend got the personal pizza , hot and fresh and she said was very good,
But lost pizza Alfredo noodles needs to change..noodles are gummy and sauce like gravy not good at all..but salad was extremely fresh and delicious.
Customers inside amount was low which made service better on extreme busy time service will be slow , done that too...they do work hard ...so I understand all that . Just change how you make Alfredo please ..“

“We've been looking for a go-to Mexican restaurant since we moved back to Jonesboro two years ago. My husband had never been to El Acapulco until yesterday, and he was impressed. The food was great and our server was very attentive. We'll definitely be going back.“

“Had a good meal. We Were there for my brother's girlfriend's birthday. The cook was pretty funny and interacted with everyone. He did a good job with everyone's meal.So apparently the new thing is adding the tip to the ticket now. They added the tip and totaled it. So because of this, this is what he only got. I was going to tip more cause he did an awesome job but I don't like being told or forced to tip. So due to his employer he missed out. I always tip good and usually more if the service was good.“

“It was a wonderful experience. We went for Mother's Day. It was the first time we had been. We sat at the grill, and there were 9 of us. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess. They were very nice and took our drink and appetizer order. We were very entertained by our cook and he was a lot of fun and kept us laughing. It was amazing watching his skills with his knives and other utensils. He also had fun with the fire part of his skills. The food was delicious. We are definitely going back again. Anyone looks for a good atmosphere, entertainment, delicious food, drinks, and reasonable prices, then you have to give Sumo Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar a try. You will want to go back again.

“I have eaten at this Italian restaurant many times over the years and the food has always been good. I usually get pasta with chicken but tried the sausages last time and they were good as well. The bread they serve with every meal is also good. They serve alcohol at this establishment so if you want to drink with your meal, it is available. I ordered wine with my meal and it was never brought out but I was charged for it so just make sure you get what you order. Overall not a bad spot.“
