“While traveling near Jonesboro, Arkansas we wanted a local restaurant for lunch. We found Chef’s In and decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly and helpful. The other customers were so welcoming, especially when they realized we were not from Jonesboro but just passing through. As fellow southerners (we are from Alabama) we appreciated the hospitality shown The food was hot, plentiful, so many choices and tasty. I really enjoyed the peach cobbler and spouse enjoyed the German chocolate cake“

“We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

“We've been looking for a go-to Mexican restaurant since we moved back to Jonesboro two years ago. My husband had never been to El Acapulco until yesterday, and he was impressed. The food was great and our server was very attentive. We'll definitely be going back.“

“I give their food a 3 star bc I have been here 3 times in about 4 months time and every time my steak is messed up. The first time I ordered Fillet and it was their basic steak cut. They said bc Sumos were remodeling and they have some of their cooks and they didnt know. The second time same thing. Today I went ordered a medium fillet and it was a fillet mignon but it was chewy and well done. Everything is great. Service and sushi and sides I guess I shouldn't order steak anymore 😕“

It’s as if those cooks whisper to every French fry, “go forth, and tickle tastebuds,” before they send a plate out. You want breakfast? Great! They have that until 1:30, which is perfect for late risers and hangovers. Want lunch? I recommend the Freakin’ Chicken. Want a mimosa? They do that, too! Want somewhere to take the kids? This is the spot. It’s kinda loud in there, so my kids blend right in. Keep up the amazing work, J-Town’s. You are making a difference in more ways than one—- I don’t have to cook (the best), and we are being nourished with affordable, 5-star quality eats. Thank you 🙌🏻“

“Sumo's is a good hibachi restaurant, probably the better out of the two here in Jonesboro, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best hibachi you are going to have here in Arkansas. It was just an average hibachi experience. I wish the fried rice was seasoned more, but it was still pretty good. My steak was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated my boyfriend who has a shellfish allergy. Overall, just 4 stars. Nothing memorable, but will get the job done if you're craving hibachi.“

“My husband works here, so I get to go quite a bit. All the servers are awesome, customers are chill, and the food is delicious! I haven't had anything i didn't like. And the drinks! While some drinks could be a bit stronger, they're still delicious.

And for these reviews saying the place is loud and noisy, NO DUH! It's a SPORTS BAR! It's gonna be loud! It's got drunk people cheering for sports. If you can't deal with it, then go home. Don't leave a bad review.
