“While traveling near Jonesboro, Arkansas we wanted a local restaurant for lunch. We found Chef’s In and decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly and helpful. The other customers were so welcoming, especially when they realized we were not from Jonesboro but just passing through. As fellow southerners (we are from Alabama) we appreciated the hospitality shown The food was hot, plentiful, so many choices and tasty. I really enjoyed the peach cobbler and spouse enjoyed the German chocolate cake“

“We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

They have that until 1:30, which is perfect for late risers and hangovers. Want lunch? I recommend the Freakin’ Chicken. Want a mimosa? They do that, too! Want somewhere to take the kids? “My friend got the personal pizza , hot and fresh and she said was very good,
But lost pizza Alfredo noodles needs to change..noodles are gummy and sauce like gravy not good at all..but salad was extremely fresh and delicious.
Customers inside amount was low which made service better on extreme busy time service will be slow , done that too...they do work hard ...so I understand all that . Just change how you make Alfredo please ..“

“We've been looking for a go-to Mexican restaurant since we moved back to Jonesboro two years ago. My husband had never been to El Acapulco until yesterday, and he was impressed. The food was great and our server was very attentive. We'll definitely be going back.“

“Our daughter choose this spot for her after graduation lunch and she hit this one out of the park. This is a family owned restaurant with super friendly service and amazing food. The portions are huge and they have great prices. My daughter got the vegetarian pizza, I had the Chicken Alfredo, the hubby had crabmeat canneloni and our son had the ribeye sandwich. Not to mention the combo appetizer was soo good. We had no room for dessert but will definitely try them first the next time. We were so stuffed afterwards that we had a 3 hour nap. Don't miss out on this gem!“

“Service is good and the food is good. Last visit I had the meatloaf which was excellent, crusty on the outside in the best way...don't know if they meant to do that but I loved it!

“Sumo's is a good hibachi restaurant, probably the better out of the two here in Jonesboro, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best hibachi you are going to have here in Arkansas. It was just an average hibachi experience. I wish the fried rice was seasoned more, but it was still pretty good. My steak was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated my boyfriend who has a shellfish allergy. Overall, just 4 stars. Nothing memorable, but will get the job done if you're craving hibachi.“
