Good food, quiet atmosphere, great service. Would eat here againWe went on a Wednesday around 7:00pm and expected it to be a bit busier than it was. Two patrons at the bar and the booths were occupied but other than that, it was just my sister and me. We were greeted when we walked in, a good start. The food was good but expensive. We went specifically because of the menu we saw online. When we got there the menu was much smaller. There seemed to be lots of homeless people going in and out multiple times it was raining so I can understand.
Visited this New Orleans-inspired restaurant in downtown Jonesboro. We ordered the calamari and gumbo as appetizers. The calamari was perfect and served with a good remoulade sauce. The gumbo was ok. They use a blonde roux and the veggies weren't cooked down enough.We got the catfish basket and the alligator po boy as entrees. The catfish basket was rather expensive but the fillets were huge.
