“We’re picky on where we choose to eat out especially Asian foods. This place knocks it out of the park. Huge menu. Cooked to perfection. Big portions. Clean interior and super friendly staff. The owners have done a great job. This maybe a weekly visit place from now on.“
“Our first waiter was a little off but the food was generally good. The ketchup the fries came with was so good. The second time we came, we got Matthew, and he is an incredible server. Best waiter ever. The cappuccino creme brulee was amazing.“
“My wife was out of town so I took my daughters to Mt. Fuji on 01/17/24 and told them I only take special people to this place and told them how I had been going there for 24 years. I pulled up and a sign was on the building that said it had moved, but another sign said it’s around the corner. So, I kept pulling around until I finally saw a new sign that said “Mt. Fuji” tucked in behind the Looney Bin. I walked in and it was nice. But I didn’t see the pretty older Japanese lady and everything and everybody looks different. It was sad, because of the nostalgia. Where’s the kitschy Japanese’s decor and lightly stained wood??? I looked at the menu and it was different too. I was now very sad, but already seated. I didn’t see the cucumber salad, which is the main reason I kept coming, but I had to ask anyway. Our waitress, who was awesome BTW, was like of course we have it, the name is just different. Wow, it was the best I’ve ever had it there!!! I Got the rainbow roll (another go to) and it was bomb…untouched same recipe. I got my girls (8 & 3) some kind of Japanese fried chicken and they devoured it! They are so picky so this is saying a lot!!! I got us some udon noodle soup and several small bowls to share and everyone loved it. Everything was just flat out better. A young man came to my table to check on us and I told him I’ve been coming there for 20 years and how at first I was worried about everything changing and looking so different, but assured him that it is amazing and better than it’s ever been, and that I can’t wait to bring my wife. He said he and his brother were running the restaurant now and they spent time there before owning it and loved the food had no intentions of changing the recipes because this was the restaurant they loved. But honestly, it’s better. His brother is the chef and is extremely talented! He shook my hand and was so kind. It was such a beautiful experience today. 5 STARS ALL DAY!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Ordered a large to go order. They were fantastic to work with, the owner specifically made sure we were taken care of well. Labeled everything with names so that it was super easy to hand everything out (for our party of 27). The food was also delicious! Good sized portions for the hibachi lunch. We ordered hibachi, some sushi and some noodle dishes. All excellent and enjoyed. I personally enjoyed the shrimp hibachi. The veggies were really good that came with it too!Upon picking up, enjoyed seeing the space and would be a nice place to dine in (they have a koi pond too!)! You can order delivery thru DoorDash or order for pick up by calling or using menufy (they only use menufy).Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“
“Brand New restaurant tucked away in a new apartment complex/mall-- a good stop on your way to Top Golf or Col. Glenn movies. 5x - Food has been fresh and consistent. Spring Rolls, edemame, and ginger salad are good. We've had Tofu hibachi, large selection of featured sushi rolls and their basic rolls are big and better than most pl. Fried Cheesecake is a great shareable dessert. Friendly staff relaxed atmosphere.“
“Had a wonderful time with my family! The waiters are very nice and the food was wonderful! They made great suggestions and were very helpful when we were confused. Would definitely return especially since they were so patient and nice with my baby boy! Thank you all again you made my teenage sons birthday “
“Food:? Amazing food. TBH this is very authentic taste of real Chinese food, I’m impressed. I ordered 3 dishes and the tastes were delicious! If you love authentic dish, try Cumin beef , Boiled spicy fish(fish filet) and. hangzhou duck( sweet soy sauce taste- duck meat was super soft and the skin has fats)Service: ? our server is super friendly and professional. He actually recommended us Hangzhou duck , and he did ask us often about how was everything, and other servers also helped out our table service as wellWaiting dish: might take a while… to wait. But it’s Worth it!“
“I just went to Big On Tokyo for the first time and I am so glad to have found it. I just got back from living overseas and have not found good non-crazy expensive sushi...until now! I will come back here often for the prices, the selection, and the quality. A big thank you to the wonderful staff ?“
“Very good food, a lot of varied assortment, so much so that you don't finish trying everything there is! Very attentive staff, the girl who served me was very kind, I would have liked to have tipped her more, but I gave her what I could get my hands on.Recommended!“
“Wasabi is a nice restaurant with a warm atmosphere. It provides a modern feel that gives it more of an upscale vibe, but without the high prices. The waitress was friendly and recommended the Arkansas River roll. Both sushi rolls were really good. They tasted fresh and had nice consistency. The sake was also excellent; light and refreshing. There weren't many people which was surprising, but it got busier around 8pm. That was nice because you can have a conversation without being drowned out by others.“
“This place is consistently good. Their customer service has always been very friendly and helpful. I like the sushi (they can seriously fry stuff, so anything with tempura in it) and husband and son like the hibachi. I've heard that their fried rice is a little greasy... And I don't disagree but it's got really great flavor. The only real complaint I might have is their sake selection is lacking, but I figure not many folks around here would care lol. If you're looking for good, solid, standard sushi/hibachi fare in West Little Rock, then this is your place.Dietary restrictions: Celiac sister gives it a thumbs upKid-friendliness: The staff are helpful and accommodating towards kids, and willing to help find something for a picky eater. My littles love their teriyaki chicken and fried rice.“
“It wasn't busy, but I still felt like they kind of pushed us aside a little. The waiter was nice though and professional. BUT, the food was AMAZING! We didn't have to wait long once we were able to actually order and everything tasted so good. We ordered the appetizer sampler, which I highly recommend! My boyfriend and I both loved it. Also, his VIP sushi roll was delicious. We've been there a few times and every time the food is so good.“
“The atmosphere was fantastic ? My inner punk was more than delighted. The staff is phenomenal ? The food was fresh, well plated, and delicious ? The miso was rich and savory. Lots of options for whatever you are craving. I would definitely recommend and go againParking: There is street parking, but depending on how busy things are downtown, you may have to find parking a little further from the door, but most all places are easy walking to“
“I love getting the lunch sushi roll combo ( choice of 2 rolls) I get either spicy tuna or salmon roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Such a good deal! It also includes a side of miso soup, which has always been hot, flavorful, and has all the garnishes! I Usually order it when they open and its ready within 15min to be picked up.“
“What a surprise this place was... The steak and chicken hibachi was great. steak was well seasoned, tender and juicy it didn't feel like chewing gum like some hibachi steak can be. Huge portion size, fed my wife and I twice. The best surprise though was the arkansas roll ? 10/10. Might not be the level of a Kemuri shushi roll but man for a take out spot you're not finding any better. We will be ordering again.“
