“I called in for lunch and by the time I got there within 10 minutes it was already ready by the time I parked and walked up to the window. Always quick and consistently good. I've tried a few other places around town but I always go back to Southern Hibachi as my goto. I usually get the combo since I can't decide and always end up getting 2 or 3 meals out of one order. Even amounts of meat rice and vegetables and spaces to go with it all. Vegetables are always cooked well not too soggy or undercooked like I've experienced elsewhere. The egg rolls are good to add as a side too. Will definitely be back again.“
“So we tried it because our son loves the food. Wow wow wow, it is fantastic. We had vegetables hibachi and chicken hibachi. The amount of food is incredible. The flavors are so impressive and I am so glad we skipped our usual place. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Oh and the menu is perfection, perfect choices from hibachi to sushi. “Ordered the Chicken, Steak, Shrimp . I had it delivered by Doordash. The dasher was prompt and in a pleasant mood (please tip your dashers well). I asked for no veggies and extra rice and was expecting the worst, BUT, when I got my food, low and behold, KeiHiro was on point with my special request. I looked at the cup of yum yum and it looked a little different. Not the same as the other stores that use the industrial sized jugs of sauce, so again I was expecting to not get the deliciousness that normally comes with a hibachi meal but with one taste on the tip of the spoon, I am somewhat thinking that this restaurant may make their own sauce and it was delicious. Overall a great meal and I will gladly order from here again!!!“
“What a surprise this place was... The steak and chicken hibachi was great. steak was well seasoned, tender and juicy it didn't feel like chewing gum like some hibachi steak can be. Huge portion size, fed my wife and I twice.The best surprise though was the arkansas roll ? 10/10. Might not be the level of a Kemuri shushi roll but man for a take out spot you're not finding any better.We will be ordering again.“

“My wife was out of town so I took my daughters to Mt. Fuji on 01/17/24 and told them I only take special people to this place and told them how I had been going there for 24 years. I pulled up and a sign was on the building that said it had moved, but another sign said it’s around the corner. So, I kept pulling around until I finally saw a new sign that said “Mt. Fuji” tucked in behind the Looney Bin. I walked in and it was nice. But I didn’t see the pretty older Japanese lady and everything and everybody looks different. It was sad, because of the nostalgia. Where’s the kitschy Japanese’s decor and lightly stained wood??? I looked at the menu and it was different too. I was now very sad, but already seated. I didn’t see the cucumber salad, which is the main reason I kept coming, but I had to ask anyway. Our waitress, who was awesome BTW, was like of course we have it, the name is just different. Wow, it was the best I’ve ever had it there!!! I Got the rainbow roll (another go to) and it was bomb…untouched same recipe. I got my girls (8 & 3) some kind of Japanese fried chicken and they devoured it! They are so picky so this is saying a lot!!! I got us some udon noodle soup and several small bowls to share and everyone loved it. Everything was just flat out better. A young man came to my table to check on us and I told him I’ve been coming there for 20 years and how at first I was worried about everything changing and looking so different, but assured him that it is amazing and better than it’s ever been, and that I can’t wait to bring my wife. He said he and his brother were running the restaurant now and they spent time there before owning it and loved the food had no intentions of changing the recipes because this was the restaurant they loved. But honestly, it’s better. His brother is the chef and is extremely talented! He shook my hand and was so kind. It was such a beautiful experience today. 5 STARS ALL DAY!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Ordered a large to go order. They were fantastic to work with, the owner specifically made sure we were taken care of well. Labeled everything with names so that it was super easy to hand everything out (for our party of 27). The food was also delicious! Good sized portions for the hibachi lunch. We ordered hibachi, some sushi and some noodle dishes. All excellent and enjoyed. I personally enjoyed the shrimp hibachi. The veggies were really good that came with it too!Upon picking up, enjoyed seeing the space and would be a nice place to dine in (they have a koi pond too!)! You can order delivery thru DoorDash or order for pick up by calling or using menufy (they only use menufy).Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“
“My sister and I are dreaming of this sushi- such fresh sashimi ! Henry the chef made us very happy. The wait staff ( can’t remember our waiters name but he was fabulous, attentive and helpful)The only reasons I gave the atmosphere 4 stars was because the player piano was glitchy and so the music was kind of annoying cause you weren’t hearing the full song but only some notes playing. I definitely will be returning the next time I am passing through town.“

The waitress was friendly and recommended the Arkansas River roll. Both sushi rolls were really good. They tasted fresh and had nice consistency. The sake was also excellent; light and refreshing. There weren't many people which was surprising, but it got busier around 8pm. That was nice because you can have a conversation without being drowned out by others.“
