“My wife and I had the great pleasure of visiting MorningSide Bagels on a Sunday morning. We were greeted right away by the front counter staff. After perusing the menu, we decided upon the American bagel sandwich. We shared it and got a side sesame seed bagel along with coffee. Everything came out pretty quickly. We savored every bite. The staff were very friendly and professional. When time came for us to leave, my wife decided to buy a bag of the day olds. We couldn't decide which as there were only two bags left and so were given both for the cost of one. We left giddy. Whenever we return to Little Rock for any reason, a trip to MorningSide Bagels will definitely be a part of our plans.“

“Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I ordered my order 5 weeks ago. I emailed them and they said they haven't even started bc they don't have any holiday cookies, even though the website says otherwise. Then I email to find the status and no one emails back. I have no more cookies left. They have completely screwed me. The lady was extremely rude. I've been a loyal customer for 8yrs but that means nothing.“

The inside of the cake was moist and delicious, and the buttercream was decadent and sweet. “The best donuts in town with good, friendly service. They’ve always had a wide variety of donuts when I come in and offer me a lovely selection. I’m a teacher and am guilty of stopping and making large, last minute orders for my class/students and never once have they made me feel like an inconvenience to accommodate a large, last minute order with variety AND kindness. I appreciate that and one of the main reasons I enjoy returning to their business. They offer basic coffee and refrigerated milk products to go along with your donuts. Most days, there is even a fresh fruit option on the counter!“

“I came here yesterday for coffee and breakfast but they had sold out of the food I was hungry for (biscuits and gravy) so I got my caramel macchiato and it was delicious! I came back today and Patricia remembered me and let me know they had biscuits and gravy! She promptly made me an order (everything was made to order) and surprised me by saying they were at no cost to me. The food is delicious, the coffee slaps, and the customer service is some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time.“

“Excellent customer service !!! I ordered a heart cake for my 30th Birthday celebration over the weekend. Upon pick up it was perfect, however I was celebrating in Dallas and traveled with the cake by car. Once I arrived at my destination, my cake was completely ruined. I guess the buttercream had melted.

This was extremely disappointing, because I had been looking forward to having the cake at my birthday dinner. The next day I contacted the shop not really sure what I wanted, but mostly to just express my disappointment. After some conversation, I assume either the manager or the owner offered to make a new one for me that would be available for pickup on my actual birthday today on 2/10.

I provided pictures of the cake below, not only did it look amazing but it tasted great. I would highly recommend purchasing from this bakery. However, if you’re traveling especially if it’s a buttercream cake make sure to have some sort of cooler to avoid what happened to mine the first time. Thank you Blue Cakes“

“For the bad reviews that you people left, y’all have to realize how it is working with customers. Y’all expect too much, workers are human just like you. Y’all have to realize that they are not going to make something fresh at your demand if they have something in the case that has only been out of the oven 5-10 minutes. Suck it up and go purchase yours items else where. CUSTOMERS ALSO HAVE YO RESPECT COMPANY POLICIES!!!!!!! If they say that they’re not allowed to do a certain task that you ask of them, don’t question why just. It’s a difference between having good customer service and working with stupid and ignorant a** customers. Because adding “extra” butter makes no difference in the taste and it’s a waste of time. Coming up to the register not knowing what u want and there is a long line is a waste of time, just step over to the side and figure it out. STOP ASKING HOW MUCH SOMETHING IS AND LOOK AT THE MENU BOARD!!!!!! And if it’s not on display then don’t ask for it cuz it’s obviously not there.“

“Great donuts and food, very nice people, and I will add that the matriarch should use a calculator because I get same thing (practically) every day and if she checks me out the cost is different. She is a very nice lady I find funny she does it in her head, and it is alway different (it is just a $0.05 - $0.10 difference) not a big deal. It just makes it a real old fashion shoppe.“

“Best street tacos in Little Rock. The tacos are phenomenal and so fresh, and they come with all the trimmings, including 2 homemade sauces on the side. Burritos and Tortas were also top notch. This is REAL FOOD, folks. I've been four times and all four times, the food was perfect. It's not ideal for big groups, but a lunch outing or casual dinner for 2-6 people, give it a go. They have a cool little tienda and bakery inside as well, and the staff is kind. I will 100% be coming back yet again.“

“There's 2 people working at a time-- one baking and one working the drive through and counter. This makes service a little slow because he's trying to do both at one time but he does good keeping up. We got a lemon filled, Bavarian cream, cinnamon twist, classic glazed, bear claw, apple fritter and a sausage cheese kolache. They all slapped!!! Would definitely recommend.

“Mylo’s avocado sandwich and cappuccino are reasons enough for me to drive here all the way from Maryland. According to my husband, other things are wonderful as well. But, wow, this avocado sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve ever had. And my dog was welcome inside. Which is an extra bonus.“
