“This bar is a hidden gem! Awesome energy, great crowd, and even better food and drinks! The music keeps the vibe going all night. Bartenders were quick and friendly — easily one of the best bars around. Well kept pool tables.“

I chatted with the bartender for the first couple minutes and she introduced me to a few people there. I’m so happy I finally came. I lost a game of pool to a new friend and cannot wait to come back 😊“

“Back in the late '70s my dad and I and my husband used to go into this tavern and it was very laid-back and nice atmosphere but nowadays they're letting riff raff in like a Donny Hammond's who is a thief who was hired to work and paid up front never completed the work and wrote out in the middle of the night taking many things that did not belong to him which is called stealing I was told that he also stole from the monkey and I chose not to believe that but now I know it must be true I hope you feel better Donny Hammond's I'm stealing from a disabled elderly widow.“

“We went here while my son was in Children's and safe to say it did not disappoint. The server we had was energetic and filled us in on the history and culture of the place, I shared an excellent bottle of wine with my mom and had some of the best soup and lasagna I've ever tasted in my life.

Then the cookies and cream gelato was just the cherry on top of the evening. Will be back.“

“North Bar is a great spot if you’re looking for a laid-back atmosphere with solid food and good service. The staff was friendly and attentive which made the experience enjoyable. The food came out fresh and hot and definitely a step above your typical bar fare.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because while everything was really good, nothing quite pushed it into “wow” territory. But it’s still a place I’d gladly come back to. Overall, a reliable choice for a casual night out with great service and quality food.“
