“Our order was put in and when the food was brought out, the server seemed tired or just plain uninterested in her job.I had to repress the order button to let them know there was no carbonation in my son's drink and was asked what should they do about it? I said to fix it and bring out a new one. When it was brought out, I got the look that we were a bother to her day.The snarkiness of the order taker and the uninterest of the waitress sure makes it easy to not return.“
“The coffee here is great! I had an iced cinnamon roll coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the coffee ice cubes! My drink never tasted watered down which is almost always an issue with iced coffees. The inside is pretty small, so sitting in might not be an option if they are busy. They were also slightly confusing to find since we drove there and on one side the shop is labeled as “The Duke” and not “River City Coffee.”Vegetarian options: Plant milks available“
“This place totally rocks. A waffle cone with 2 generous scoops of ice cream is $6.50, which is a pretty good value. Loblolly serves about 20 different flavors, plus 8 vegan flavors. My lovely bride and I were in Little Rock to see the solar eclipse, and we stopped in twice. We really liked the cookies & cream, the double vanilla, honey lavender, churro cheesecake, and the Rock Town Bourbon Pecan. The service is fast and friendly. Highly recommended!“
“Kaluas Snack Bar is amazing. They have really great tamales and other treats. Everything is amazing. They have the best Tre leches coke. They have the most beautiful employees in town. Always happy always courteous. This is one of the "few" places in town that you can ALWAYS count on great service. ALWAYS. That's rare. These ladies take an extreme amount of pride in their products. I love this place, and I don't get over there nearly as much as my tastebuds would like. I travel to cancun yearly. Kaluas is my cancun here at home. Did I mention how beautiful the staff is? If you happen to be headed west on JFK near the post office, they are behind the cleaners on the right. Do yourself and your taste buds a huge favor. If you have kids they will LOVE THE TREATS! Kaluas = self love.Parking: There are plenty of parking spots. The only problem I had was that they are tucked away from the street and not so easy to find the first time. Use your Google maps to find it the first time. You'll have no problem finding your way back next timeKid-friendliness: It's absolutely perfect for kiddos. Most of their dishes are kid friendly Mexican street food and deserts. They have family mixed tables. It's fun for the whole familyWheelchair accessibility: I'm disabled myself. “The junkyard dog ice cream cake was seriously the best cake ever. My son turned 13 and I have an 11 year old - we’ve had a cake every year for both birthdays. Out of 24 birthday cakes, Scoop Dog’s was the first one to leave us arguing over the leftovers.“
“This was our first time going and from out of state. The young lady was very helpful in recommending good choices. My daughter chose an small Oreo mixture, see picture. I ordered a kids cup, vanilla ice cream with Reese pieces to add in the cup. I didn't get to take a picture of mine. All weee pretty good“
