“Love their sushi and other menu items here. Staff is not the best. Last time I was there the waiter got our order out very late even though there were not that many customers and he brought them out as I reminded him of my original orders. Again the food is great staff can be slow or confused.“

“This was my first time visiting Shu Sushi Grill & Ramen, and it was a solid experience. I stopped in around 4:45pm to order takeout. They had cute Valentine’s decorations up, which made the space feel festive and welcoming. My food was ready in about 15 minutes, so it was quick and convenient.

I ordered the Dynamite Roll, Dragon Roll, and Salmon Teriyaki. The Dynamite Roll was new to me and interesting in a good way — warm on top and a fun change from my usual sushi choices. The Dragon Roll was well made; adding just a small hit of wasabi to each bite made it just right. The salmon portion was a perfect size for an individual meal — filling without being too heavy.

I’d be interested in trying the teriyaki chicken next time, but I needed some fish in my diet this week, so I went with the Salmon. Overall, it met my expectations: good food, pleasant staff, and an easy, satisfying meal. I’d return, for a casual date night.“

“I have never had a bad experience or food that I didn't enjoy here. I really like their sushi lunch selection and the sushi chefs will actually give you new and exciting nigiri not just the same 4-6 run-of-the-mill type fish. The ONLY negative is the fact they don't have a soda machine and 12oz cans of soda are $3 a piece so I stick with the large sake-bomber combo ;). I will continue to enjoy this gem of a restaurant often!“

“If you're into Chicken Katsu, this location has the best! Gave a rating of 4 stars because they always have news on the TV and this day and age, it can be very polarizing. They also need to disable the "add tip" feature on their cash register. What's the point in touchless systems if your have to touch the system? And why would I tip for no table service?“

“I've had the terryaki chicken and beef with vegetables and cauliflower rice it was delicious and did not spike my blood sugar at all. The service was excellent too. Highly recommed for those who can't handle all the carbs in rice.“

“I love Hon Machi so much. I have been eating here for almost 15 years! My son grew up on the miso soup and the best fried rice on the planet! Trust me I have been many other places and nobody beats HM fried rice! We go here for celebrations and just for fun! Always clean and the food is soooooooo good! Love you guys at Hon Machi! “I really enjoyed the sushi and have been there several times. I recommend it to people ALL the time. I like going when they reopen at 4 pm. Everything is very fresh. The staff have always been kind. If there is something you have had and don't see it on the belt. JUST ASK, they will make it right away for you and make sure you have a many plates of that item. Before placing the rest on the belt. The stuffed mushrooms are awesome.“

“I wasn't planning on sticking around, but the restaurant is clean. Ashley provided great service and while she had never had the spicy tuna roll she did tell me that lots of other people order it. I took a chance and I'm so glad that I did. I ordered the goza and a spicy tuna roll and frankly, I'm impressed. I got halfway through my meal and felt the need to post this review now before I forget. So many times we are quick to review when service or food isn't up to par, but we forget that we really should be elevating those that provide excellent service and excellent tasting food.
