“Have loved this place for years. Sushi is always great, but I definitely recommend the bento lunch and dinner boxes. The shaved ice is a newer addition and is delicious for dessert. Shaved ice size could be split for two but is absolutely worth it!“

“The food was good and filling. Service could have been better. We ordered water to drink and I felt like the servers did not like that we didn't order any additional drinks. The portions were good. They do have food for those who are not into sushi/seafood. The atmosphere was inviting.“

“I love Hon Machi so much. I have been eating here for almost 15 years! My son grew up on the miso soup and the best fried rice on the planet! Trust me I have been many other places and nobody beats HM fried rice! We go here for celebrations and just for fun! Always clean and the food is soooooooo good! Love you guys at Hon Machi! “Today was the 3rd time we have been there at different times, different days- same result. ✔️ Food outstanding, portions generous/ appropriately priced. ✔️Service outstanding. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and appear to enjoy their job; they show genuine concern your experience is the best it can be! Management is active, attentive and addressed the smallest error we had immediately. ✔️Atmosphere is balanced, inviting with enough of a fine dining touch. Highly recommend John, Tyler and Casey have made our trips worth the visit and a place we enjoy happy hour!“

“Happened upon this place because the brewery we came to visit wasn't open yet. Hon Machi was all that and a bag of chips. Their lunch specials and happy hour specials were legit. The sushi was awesome. Fresh sushi grade fish and sticky rice, no mayo added, and the crab puffs were bomb as well as the Las Vegas roll. Sorry no photos because it was that good.“

“We always come here for some Ramen and good sushi! Service is always great the atmosphere is great. We tried the baby octopus as an appetizer delicious. The food portion is perfect. Definitely recommend the Ramen and dynamite sushi even the kids bento is great.“

“Yesterday, I had dinner plans with my friends, and when I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted with the most wonderful surprise—a beautifully prepared party filled with so much love that made me feel truly happy and cherished. I’m so grateful to all the staff at Gogi for offering us the table for such a long time during a busy weekend, for saying “congratulations” to me over and over, and for their amazing service that touched my heart. The food was absolutely delicious, and as always—since I’ve been here many times before—Gogi remains one of my favorite places. Thank you so much!“

“I'm a big sushi fan, and every time I come down to PHX I always come here once or twice. The lady that guides you to your seat is the absolute, number one, best server I have seen in a restaurant. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
