A lovely, rustic old home converted to a cozy intimate restaurant. The wafting smells of the food being prepared drew us as we wandered in. The warm, friendly greeting and attentive staff made us feel at home. The gentle bustle and buzz of the restaurant offset by a phenomenal soundtrack of eclectic music. My wife and I commented song after song about how special the ambiance was. Now to the food, although simply referring it as food is an extreme injustice. The meal was literally a work of art. Not the bougie, overly small (see what I did there?), portions with a drizzle of color to distract you from the fact that you about to "feast" on two bites of food. The portions were just the right size, completely satisfying without being grossly over or under sized. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and top quality. This makes total sense... with chefs creating such wonderful fare, why would you not use the best? Simply put, every single thing about Josephine's is absolutely perfect in my opinion. We wanted a special night for my wife's birthday and Josephine's delivered in spades. It could not have been any more perfect. Thank you SO much! If you are EVER in Flagstaff, you HAVE to make sure and try (try isn't accurate... let's say experience) Josephine's. Life is too short NOT to experience Josephine's!“

“Food was great, happy hour offerings are solid and the ambiance and patio with an amazing view closed the deal. We were 8 people with 4 kids and we had an amazing time while the children played in the grass. If you are looking for a place with amazing food and a place to hang out with the family you need to come here. The cherry on top was the service! Briggs took care of us like he was hosting a dinner party, he was kind, attentive, professional and warm. If you live in Flag, or are just having a holiday weekend don’t miss this place !“

“My husband and I had some time to kill before our flight back home, so we stopped downtown at the Late for the Train coffee shop. This one had good reviews so we thought we would give it a try! We walked in and the line was LONG (mostly college kids) so my husband had the idea to order online and we went to sit in their outdoor patio and waited until it was ready (would recommend over standing in a long line). We enjoyed our coffee and the beautiful Flagstaff weather on their back patio. A neat place to try!“

I ordered the chopped burger and it was delicious. Absolutely the most expensive burger I've ever had, but it was very tasty. My spouse had the Arizons Briskett sandwich. It was open faced on a dry bun. No condiments. Both orders came with side salads with a yummy vinegarette dressing. As a non-beer drinker, the star of DSB is the hatch catsup that comes with the fries.“

“Fantastic food and service! If you have dietary restrictions call ahead for best service. We called a couple days ahead and they prepared and saved two allergy friendly pasties for my son for the two nights we were in town. They make fresh pasties daily but they do run out sometimes and they can’t do custom orders on the spot. They accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and allergies extremely well. They will do what they can if you don’t call ahead and may have options that fit your needs but if you call ahead they will make sure you are taken care of. We have eaten at several locations in Arizona and always have a good experience. Really appreciate them!“
