“I would like to share a positive update regarding my recent visit to Ono Hawaiian BBQ.
Following my initial less-than-satisfactory experience, the manager graciously compensated our meal, which we greatly appreciated.

We are pleased to report that our second visit was a much more enjoyable experience. We had the opportunity to try the Island Fire Chicken, and the Kuala Combo with Katsu. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and well-prepared.

This positive experience has certainly changed my perception, and I am glad I gave OH BBQ another try.“

“First time at a Haiwian grill kind of place and it was pretty good. I would come back definitely. Though I ordered other items as well I came for the malasadas and they were pretty good, they had more cream than I expected though, almost a little too much, but good nonetheless. My brother left his wallet here and he came back the next day to see they kept it which was very nice of them. Thanks a lot, wouldve been a massive hassle for him if he had to replace everything since it had his military ID and he was on vacation and out of state.“

“There's no other pokibowl place in Arizona that I trust and go to as much as this place. Whenever I'm craving it, I always get a speedy and great bowl. The place is clean and the atmosphere is alright, it's just one guy running the place so I'm surprised this place holds up so well.“

“We were greeted with friendliness when we walked in the door. The items on the menu were diverse and creative, with a mix of more standard fare. The food was delicious with an enjoyable mix of seasoning and well cooked fare. The wait was appropriate for the cuisine. A wholly pleasing experience.“

“First time trying this place. My wife and I brought the family to fat cats for a family night and stopped here. The food is fresh and very tasty, I had the Cabo fish tacos, my wife had the pork sandwich. Our daughter had a grilled chicken bowl and the grand kids had chicken kids meals. Everyone was pleased with their food. Will try again.“

“The Hawaiian chicken was amazing, super juicy with just the right touch of sweetness. The island wings and beef plate were flavorful and came in big portions, plus the staff was really friendly and helpful. The manapua dough was soft and fluffy, though the filling could have been less dry.“

“I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! As soon as you walk in you get the Hawaii vibes from ambience to music and friendly staff! The food was phenomenal and brought me back to Waikiki 🫶 I ended up with loco moco and spam masubi and got spicy poke to go.“

“So many options of free toppings! I got three types of tuna for my poke bowl. The miso soup had plenty of tofu and was delicious, but it had excessive green onions. Service was quick, location was convenient for ASU staff, inside was clean. I'll be back!“

“I come here quite often with my family. The food is always amazing and the portions are very fair.
Only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the employees didn't seem happy to be there and while they were nothing bad they were more just...indifferent I would say is the best way to describe it. I recommend take out rather than eating in.
Just think there should of more energy around the place. I understand that someone times it's just a way to pay the bills but providing a happy atmosphere and service it's what keep people coming back the food too of course lo.“

“This review is for the Westheimer location in Houston. Love the food (Laau Pig is my love forever). Other dishes are super great as well. Love the staff. Michelle the manager is the best of the best! She actually listens to any concerns/issues. Very customer oriented! Always come home happy with my take-outs! Very tasty soft serve! My boy loves it. “Poke eats is my husband's and my got to eatery its located close to work so a lot of us eat here. This is the only place in the valley you can get a good sushi-rito. Yes there are other places with Poké in the name where you can get one but none are like this. This place is a vibe the staff is always in a good mood, music is top tier while waiting or dine-in, if an employee makes a mistake they usually catch it beforehand so you have no issues or a wrong order, and the restaurant is extremely clean. I only wish they did delivery but this spot deserves 10/10 stars“

“This was our first time here and it was so delicious! I had the loco mock and it tasted like I was back on the island. Sorry for no pictures it was that good. My girlfriend had the spicy garlic chicken that was delicious as well. Everything we had was great!“

“The food is decent. Not what I would consider true Hawai'ian plate lunch. But good nonetheless.

I would suggest that you order online and pick up and eat in or out. It takes quite a bit of time getting your food order when you order through the self kiosk and/or the cashier.“
