Our server Megan (along with assistant and alternate server) was very attentive and when we walked to our table I noticed the red flower petals which was really lovely. Thank you so much the food was amazing, this place will always be our annual visit when coming to AZ. My favorite and will never change is the Chilean seabass..hats of to the chef!! Big shout out to Amber who was so friendly and efficient. Will be back next year when I go to Pheonix and my son says when he gets homesick he will he down for a taste of home! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!”

Pinball machines and other games. I wondered about the empty parking garage lot but there's more parking in the back. Staff was super nice and helpful. I got a great sour and when I told them it was the reason I came, they gave me a sample of another. They said they change the drinks out about every 2 weeks. Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger that I did not expect much more than average bar food out of but it was huge and delicious. One of the best I've had in a while. I may become a regular.”

Wow...that's about all I can say about this wonderful gem in the desert. Everything had taste bud pleasing flavor, portion sizes are perfect and at a very decent price. Not to mention service was perfect, immediate and very accommodating. Whether this was a lucky night for us, or the usual for this wonderful place, they have new fans that will back for more. There is a ton of variety to the menu which requires more visits to experience. Don't pass this place up! The only suggestion is the artichoke leaves could be a little more tender using the baby leaves only, however, they are delicious and worth a try.”

This time we came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we were greeted by our server, Kiah. Best server ever! She was so attentive, very friendly, very professional, and really added to our experience. We laughed together - but she was also respectful of our celebration, and gave my husband & I space to enjoy the food and each other. Next time we come, we will certainly ask to be seated in her area. At the end of our meal, DJ, the General Manager, came by our table to make sure that we enjoyed the food. We sure did - but we also raved about Kiah. DJ was wonderful!, very friendly and appreciative. Thank you Kiah and DJ - you made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend Olive Garden Glendale. “Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.”

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past three going on four years now. They have the best beans and rice in my opinion that I’ve ever eaten at any Mexican restaurant. Their food is just absolutely delicious and priced reasonably. Great place to bring a date, family and loved ones or even just having a business lunch. Staff is very friendly and courteous and the food is out of this world. My other favorite is the green chicken enchiladas. Amazing!”

There are plenty of big tables so they can accommodate larger groups pretty easily. The service is always polite and helpful. Every time we go in these days there is a large Taiwanese group enjoying, so there must be something to this place.”

I tried a deep-fried sushi roll and odun soup, with some egg rolls. He had his beef with glass noodles. Delicious!! Allison (the bar tender) was very calm under pressure of all of the guests constantly ordering. Her skills of making the beverages were fantastic and the food that was prepared by the cook was tasty. This time we came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we were greeted by our server, Kiah. Best server ever! She was so attentive, very friendly, very professional, and really added to our experience. We laughed together - but she was also respectful of our celebration, and gave my husband & I space to enjoy the food and each other. Next time we come, we will certainly ask to be seated in her area. At the end of our meal, DJ, the General Manager, came by our table to make sure that we enjoyed the food. We sure did - but we also raved about Kiah. DJ was wonderful!, very friendly and appreciative. Thank you Kiah and DJ - you made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend Olive Garden Glendale. • The pan fried dumplings at Lao Ma are exquisite.
• This is an Asian food hall with 5 different restaurants.
You wouldn't know from the outside that what appears to be one tiny place actually houses 5 separate & distinct Asian businesses. I think it would be helpful if they changed their Google listing to indicate it as a food hall. (Note: If you want to go shopping inside a restaurant, corporate establishments like Cracker Barrel & Rain Forest Cafe would fit that bill. However, that's a bizarre expectation to have of any restaurant).
We visited during their Lunar New Year celebrations this past weekend, and the decor made it feel extra festive. I loved all the red lanterns and new year's decor. The theme is an Asian night-market; a detail that nobody seems to have picked up on. You'll notice a large mural at the back wall that depicts that vibe. The neon signs at K-Bap & Lao Ma are especially cute & whimsical.
Honestly, I was originally uninterested when they first opened since it's super far away. But that all changed with the pan fried dumplings from Lao Ma. They were the BEST DUMPLINGS I'VE EVER HAD! I am hoping they'll expand to the east valley bc I cannot stop thinking about them, and driving 45 min one-way isn't something I can or want to do all the time. The pan-fried dumplings were expertly seasoned & cooked, from the flavorful, juicy filling to the lacey, crisp skirt. I have made my own dumplings from scratch for 20+ yrs now, but these were absolutely phenomenal.
We also tried the chili oil shrimp wontons. They were cooked nicely too, but the chili oil overpowered the delicate juicy shrimp filling. However, the side of chili crisp was delicious & flavorful; a far better accompaniment IMO. I am looking forward to trying all the other dumplings at Lao Ma.”
