“They put the extra smoothie in a small cup for me. Its the 2nd time they did this, so I guess it’s customary now 🙂

I used to ask other smoothie shops to do this, but they would say that they’re not allowed to, or they would do it saying they could only do it when the owner wasn’t there. So seeing this Robeks do this without me asking was very pleasant.

No extra smoothie goes to waste and I get a little more smoothie😊

“You can tell immediately walking into En Route that this place is popular — busy, loud, trendy music going, and honestly very cute inside. It’s part café, part eatery, with drinks, food, herbal teas (unsweetened options — always appreciated), plus a fun retail vibe with local makers selling candles, jewelry, wellness goodies, jams, etc. I actually picked up some jewelry while I was there, which made the visit feel a little more experiential than your average coffee stop.

Menu is extensive, but if you’re vegan, you’ll likely be customizing rather than ordering straight off the menu. They were totally accommodating though — I customized an açaí blue magic smoothie bowl that turned out really good. Bonus points for serving it in a square container — random, but I’ve had a LOT of açaí bowls and that was a first. Cute, different, memorable.

Service was helpful but a bit flat energy-wise. I get that it was busy, but a little warmth at the register would’ve matched the otherwise vibey atmosphere better. Not bad service — just not the friendliest front-facing experience.

I also grabbed the last vegan baked good from a local brand (“Yum”) — a cinnamon roll cake muffin. Loved seeing a local vegan baker represented, though the frosting leaned too sweet for me and the texture was more coffee-cake-adjacent than muffin. Appreciated the option, even if I wouldn’t reorder.

Overall: great herbal tea selection (hot or iced loose leaf options = yes please), strong aesthetic, fun retail element, and a solid spot if you’re okay customizing for vegan needs. Definitely a cute hangout café with personality.“

“Excellent service! We sent our son to pickup our takeout order at 8pm and while on the way, there was a fatal accident on I10 west and the freeway shut down. The boys from Lotus Pho waited 30 minutes of their own time after closing for us to pick up our takeout and placed additional sodas with our takeout free of charge. We are so thankful for their act of kindness. Excellent food as well. Thank you Lotus Pho!“

“Tried Dutch for the first time in the morning today cuz the line wasn’t crazy for once like I’m used to seeing at other locations! I’m SO happy I did!!!!! The poor cold girl in the drive line with her tablet and mask (👏👏👏) at 7:45 am was so sweet, friendly and personable! I didn’t get her name but she had good lashes 😅 anyway, she greeted me so sincerely, recommended a drink based off my usual Starbucks order, knew how to build it and mentioned/suggested the app to me. I was in the food industry for 10 years and my husband is corporate (fast) food for nearly 15 years now and we are very picky when it comes to customer service. Recently we have been astounded with how horrible everything is any place we go. This visit was a breath or fresh air and this girl was perfection!!!! When 1 car away from the window I had a bit of a wait (though I didn’t mind) due to something with that car ahead of me, I don’t believe it was a Dutch issue. I could see the girl at the window smiling through her mask and being super friendly, it seemed as though she was chatting with a friend but I’m pretty sure it was ‘just a customer.’ When I rolled up she apologized for the wait, double checked my order and told me to “have a beautiful day” before I left. Also did not see her name but she too had great lashes 🤣 I must be PMS-ing but I literally started crying when texting my husband about how impressive and amazing this whole experience was 😂😍 I want to make sure those girls are rewarded or at least aware of the impact they are and can truly make on people and that Dutch knows what assets they have employed there. Thank you SO much and I will DEFINITELY be back soon!!!! PS- my peppermint white mocha something or other with extra espresso shot was delicious and better than Starbucks 😉“
