“Desert View Trading Post is a great little stop—perfect for a cool treat after climbing the Watchtower! We grabbed some ice cream here after enjoying the incredible views, and it totally hit the spot. The shop itself has a fun, classic park vibe with plenty of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs, all in a super convenient location near the Desert View parking area.

The staff was friendly, and it’s a nice spot to take a quick break before continuing along the scenic drive. Definitely worth a stop—especially if you’re looking for a refreshing treat and a few keepsakes to take home!“

“Reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches, burritos & Starbucks coffee! It opens at 7 am but we got in line at 6:45 and we are glad we did. By the time we got out of line there were 30 more people behind us in line!Tip: get in line early before they even open up or you’ll be waiting awhile!“

“The ice cream scoops are back! This is the best place to get a quick lunch and refreshing ice cream on a hot day at the canyon. Prices are very reasonable - the options are limited but really this place is about quick convenience which it excels at.“
