“Arriving at 6;30 on a Thursday night we were able to find a seat in a fully packed restaurant. We were asked about drinks immediately. Since the restaurant was packed the 2 waitresses had their hands full. But they were attentive and kept us updated on our orders. It did take a bit of time however, later we found out there was a single cook who also was training a new staff member. Kudos to the kitchen staff for getting the food out hot and ready to eat. Under the circumstances the limited staff was working they all handled it wonderfully!!“

“We visited this restaurant with friends and even though it’s a steakhouse, I was really impressed by how many great vegetarian options they had. While my friends enjoyed their steaks, I had garlic mushrooms, spaghetti, mozzarella sticks, and access to the salad buffet. Everything was delicious!
The staff were incredibly kind and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. It has that classic Western vibe but doesn’t feel overly touristy at all.
I’d absolutely come back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!“

“We ate a wonderful, nourishing breakfast here prior to visiting Petrified Forest Nat’l Park. The food was freshly made, excellent and matching the descriptions. The bacon was done to perfection. French Toast nicely crisp on the outside and tender inside. Huevos Rancheros were very nice. Coffee was quite good for a diner. Service was polite and prompt throughout. Well done, Camaleon!“

“This rest stop/gas station was VERY nice! There’s a Burger King, and large gas station with snacks/drinks/phone chargers/AZ items, for sale. The bathrooms are clean and plentiful. There are a few little stores located inside that sell souvenirs, and the space is just overall huge! It’s a nice area for the whole family to get out, look around, eat, fill up the tank, and relax, comfortably for awhile.“
