“One of my favorite Barros..... One thing that sucks is don't get there an hour and half before they close some nights its packed and they shut down sections of the store and will NOT let people eat in there they seem more worried on getting the store closed tight on the money“

“Booked Taco Head for lunch our team of 150. Mind. Blown. Juan killed it - dude is a grill wizard! Arrived on time, set up fast. His carne asada, pollo and al pastor were out of this world. The fresh salsas & guac were on point. Beans & rice didn’t miss. Without a doubt, would bring them back in a heartbeat. Taco Head rocks. Solid 10/10.“

We were sure what we wanted and he shared the special and helped us to decide a great dinner for 19.99 allowing for appetizer and salad and two entrees. He checked on us and we decided to give a great tip. He is definitely a professional waiter and we will be asking to sit in his area. It’s our new place. Mongolian beef was awesome!!!! “You can tell immediately walking into En Route that this place is popular — busy, loud, trendy music going, and honestly very cute inside. It’s part café, part eatery, with drinks, food, herbal teas (unsweetened options — always appreciated), plus a fun retail vibe with local makers selling candles, jewelry, wellness goodies, jams, etc. I actually picked up some jewelry while I was there, which made the visit feel a little more experiential than your average coffee stop.

Menu is extensive, but if you’re vegan, you’ll likely be customizing rather than ordering straight off the menu. They were totally accommodating though — I customized an açaí blue magic smoothie bowl that turned out really good. Bonus points for serving it in a square container — random, but I’ve had a LOT of açaí bowls and that was a first. Cute, different, memorable.

Service was helpful but a bit flat energy-wise. I get that it was busy, but a little warmth at the register would’ve matched the otherwise vibey atmosphere better. Not bad service — just not the friendliest front-facing experience.

I also grabbed the last vegan baked good from a local brand (“Yum”) — a cinnamon roll cake muffin. Loved seeing a local vegan baker represented, though the frosting leaned too sweet for me and the texture was more coffee-cake-adjacent than muffin. Appreciated the option, even if I wouldn’t reorder.

Overall: great herbal tea selection (hot or iced loose leaf options = yes please), strong aesthetic, fun retail element, and a solid spot if you’re okay customizing for vegan needs. Definitely a cute hangout café with personality.“

“Delicious! Some of the best cookies we have purchased from a cookie shop. Go and get yourself some, you won't be disappointed. 😋“

“Last week you had toppings for the cookies- sprinkles and snickers pieces. Earlier in the week I got the one with sprinkles and they used a spoon to top the cookies, later in the week they dipped their hands (w/ gloves) in both the snickers and sprinkles. I totally understand there can be cross contamination with these cookies and that's on the consumer (I usually will ask them to change gloves), but something like this I felt was pure laziness and a little unacceptable. The service here is also lacking. The employees aren't friendly by any means. This is a customer service job. You chose to work here. Needs some improvement.“

“An absolutely amazing place for dinner! The lighting is nice and dim, it makes it perfect for sitting back and having a relaxed night with friends. My server way Kaylie, an absolutely lovely lady, very kind, very polite, and amazing conversation! During my time here I also had a chance to meet their manager Whitney, the changes they've made here has really brought it (in my opinion) to some true levels of Excellency.

I had ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken with Fried Rice, which right off the bat I wanna say, best fried rice I've EVER had In my life, and the chicken's batter was an amazing ballence of soft yet crunchy - not soft enough to be soggy and gross, but also not crispy enough to be cutting up your gums - might as well be the Goldilocks of Asian cuisine with how perfect it all was.

All in all, amazing first choice for anyone looking for a relaxed night, a good atmosphere, and/or good people. 20/10 will be coming back again next paycheck“

“I recently dined at Trapper’s Avondale and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional – the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The atmosphere was spotless and inviting, with a clean, modern aesthetic that created a relaxing dining environment. As for the sushi, it was absolutely delicious! Every piece was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.“

“A very pleasant surprise. We ordered the mixed platter, and the food was genuinely good , flavorful, well cooked, and served in a generous portion that was perfect for two people to share. The price felt fair and in line with similar Mediterranean spots. The handmade ayran was a standout, fresh and delicious, not the bottled kind. They also serve a complimentary bread with olive oil, which was simple but nice. What I appreciated most was the service style - calm, respectful, and non-intrusive. As an introvert, I really liked that they didn’t hover or ask repeatedly, yet they were always observant and nearby if needed. We ended with baklava to go, and it was excellent. Overall, good food, good portions, relaxed service, and definitely worth visiting if you’re staying nearby“

“By far The best Asian cuisine“

“We live nearby, so we go to Barro's on McDowell in Goodyear quite often. Both, my husband and I love their pizza, and I usually order wings . I can't consume a full order of wings, so I take the rest home. Lately the wings have been VERY dry . They are NOT as good as they used to be. Are they pre-cooked nowadays ? They taste even worse the next day when I try to reheat them (not in the microwave). :(“

“I stopped by on probably the busiest day of the year, New Years Eve. I was in went in to pick out a couple but had trouble carrying the bag and walking on crutches. The employee took the bag safely to my car. I was still able to enjoy my New Years Eve Tradition despite having surgery 2 weeks ago. The best part, they were fresh and tasted amazing like always. thank you.“

“Usually a great place, I've been going there for years. Today I was arriving from across town, made it with about 10 minutes to spare the lights are still on so I park and when I walk up the lights are off. It's 5:52, I call since it wasn't 6 (the closing time), and a young lady answers and she can clearly see me standing outside the door and says they closed early because of the weather and they weren't getting any customers. I'm very disappointed with this experience.“
