I walked in and was warmly greeted, My sandwich maker of the day was Ester. Every question she asked, she asked with a smile. After she was finished she took the time out to ask me how my day was going, thank me for coming in, invited me back! That is the type of customer service that has been lacking at the other subways. “Well run establishment. The assistant manager Brendan is a top notch steward of this business and he makes sure to go above and beyond for his customers, his employees and his store.

Yes, we all know Baggin’s is a tad bit expensive but its stayed the same and been a pillar of the Tucson local food scene for decades now. And this location provides a clean, welcoming environment, employees who actually greet the customer (take a hint Jack in the Box, Wendys and Subway!) and food made accurately and with care and attention.

“Just wanted to give a shout out to an excellent employee named Michael at this location. I hadn't been to a Baggins since before the pandemic. Earlier this week, I was able to have lunch there, and I found it even better than I remembered. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the cookie! But the best thing about my visit was the assistance I received from Michael - he helped me with my order and even made sure I chose the right soda. He even provided me with a to-go container for my left overs. Michael went above and beyond the call, and I am grateful beyond words! Thank you!!“

“Today my friend & I came in for lunch. The female worker (with pink hair) apparently was not having a good day. She was the loudest person I’ve ever heard in a restaurant! Most everyone had left, however, my friend & I were trying to have a conversation but couldn’t hear each other over this employees ranting & ravings! She & the male employee went to the back where it sounded like she was throwing things & was swearing…….VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The tables weren’t cleaned, some of the veggies were very tired looking. “AMAZING STAFF. Sandra and Gary are top tier in the most observant and genuine way. I've never felt so welcomed in a chain. Today they were very busy, but Sandra immediately noticed us trying to find a freshly cleaned surface & came over immediately to clean the one we selected *before* we set a ton of items on the table.

We were quiet, but they both notice everything and immediately provide a solution. I suggested to my boyfriend that we move to a table not directly under the fan, but before my boyfriend could even respond- Gary gently offered to turn the fan off. He was multitasking, noticing my discomfort while helping another customer, and immediately offered to simply turn the fan off for us.

Neither were in our face or off-putting when offering solutions, yet they absolutely made sure that we were comfortable, despite how very busy they were. I am legitimately impressed. Feels like my small home town, but better because it all felt so genuine and natural. No tension between them, and they seemed like they were on the same page in a very non chaotic way. It's genuinely just.. very nice. Thank You!“
