“We ordered the 16 PC. Sashimi with imagine roll. Delicious! Great presentation and our server Kyle was attentive and brought our dishes quickly. I always enjoy our meals here The Sashimi portions are very good. My wife tries the Unagi roll for the first time and enjoyed it. I recommend Sushi Cortaro and bring all of my friends here to dine.“
“I am so disappointed, first they serve me a drink with a bug inside(see pic). Then AManager offered to replace it free of charge. Not only did he not follow as promissed, but restaurant tried to charge for drinks never served. I asked for table to be cleaned as it had some redish stuff that was not cleaned, had to clean it myself. I don't waste time writting reviews butbI just had to do it. May be it was an unfortunate visit but probably wont return.“
“Konnichiwa! Pat and I have lunch at Sushi Zona every Tuesday. I usually have the Deluxe Bento. Pat often orders from the sushi/sashimi checklist. All excellent. Dining is casual. The owners/operators, Taichi and Michiko, are wonderful, friendly people who have been serving their community for years. They deserve our support, especially during this pandemic when all family run restaurants are under stress. Please note that Sushi Zona offers takeout. We’ll be availing ourselves of this service regularly until the dine-in ban is lifted. After that Pat and I will be happy to see you any Tuesday shortly after the 11:00 am opening. As you enter we’ll be seated at our usual table - the one farthest from the door. Assuming social-distancing is still appropriate, please give us a wave - from across the room. ;-)“
“Ginza! We’ve been regulars since their opening day. Fantastic food and warm service. They are now open for carryout and need our support. Please support this wonderful family owned local business and enjoy the finest sushi and Japanese cuisine on earth. Open 4:00 - 8:00. Closed on Mondays.“
“Authentic. House made tamago and all the ingredients to make a legitimate futomaki… which is rare these days. Nigiri was tasty and the Japanese curry was delicious but I should have ordered it with a bit more heat. My least favorite were the spicy tuna and spicy scallop hand rolls - full disclosure: I alone at the nigiri and curry pictured, so it was likely that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Definitely worth a stop.“
“This was my first time here, and I would definitely come back. The people working were friendly, atte tive, spoke Japanese ( dont usually see that in Tucson) and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants sushi.“
“I've had take out from Kampai and it's always been excellent. Last night, I brought the family with me for some apps and sushi and it was really awesome! We had the gyoza for our starter and it was delicious! The service is great, as it's speedy and friendly. That's always appreciated. We shared a few different kinds of sushi for dinner and all were so fresh and perfectly made! My husband loves spicy tuna rolls and he said Kampai has the best he's tasted in Tucson! I'm already looking forward to our next visit to Kampai! Highly recommend!“
“I’ve never been to this location. Hands down best melt in your mouth rolls. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Food came out pretty fast even with it being a bit busy. The decor stayed true to its original Japanese style but with a modern urban twist. I loved it! The Broadway location needs to get on the same page because I’ll definitely go out of my way to come to this one. ?? Thank you for such great service and amazing food.“
“We love IOU! They have one of the only "all you can eat" sushi options in all of tucson. Their staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about food allergies. I often get custom rolls and they still count towards my all you can eat allotments. Great vibe, amazing staff.Vegetarian options: Rolls can be customized to remove animal products, just let your serve know. I get the Nan nuii roll customized and it is so good“
“Food is great! Very fresh ingredients. Simple atmosphere. Order at the counter and then sit and food is brought out. The shrimp shumai were really tender and flavorful. Caterpillar roll had a nice blend of flavors. We will be back here for a casual lunch!“
“I had just moved across the street and wanted to get some sushi so I decided to try Sakari. I found my new sushi spot for sure! I placed a pick up order and called around pick up time to check on it. A very friendly woman answered and gave me the update….It was right on time. When I picked up I was greeted immediately and the woman who helped me was sweet. I’m assuming it was the same woman I had spoken on the phone with. My rolls and miso soup were quite yummy and they were packaged up so nicely with utensils. Looks like care really went into the order. I was pleased with my first experience and can’t wait for more future visits.“
“Everything about this place is just wonderful!! Not only is the food nice and fresh, but it came out over quickly. We ordered drinks and soup, and it came out about 2 minutes later. And food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The workers were most of the time very generous people. Only complaint I have is the pricing is expensive and it’s chilly inside. Other than that, very cozy atmosphere and I recommend going there for a nice dinner ??“
