“As usual had a reservation. But when there are seats open at the bar that’s where we go. Just the best atmosphere, and greatest servers. If you can have Jose shuck a dozen “Gulfies” it’s a great way to start the evening. Jose has been there over 20 years, and is just as friendly, and affable as he was 20 years ago. Always. Great food and Great service. And, don’t miss the key lime pie. The BEST !!!“

“Have to throw a huge shout out to the waitress, Teri. She is amazing and deserves nothing but good things. Please, if you can, request her. She was knowledgeable, and helped our party of 10 with kids, with no help and she killed it!The great food was an added benefit, and was terrific! They stand by their word of, "no heat lamps".They even went so far as to take a lobster out and show all the kids, and educate them on the life cycle of lobsters.It was a wonderful experience, and I absolutely will make it back there. I highly recommend to anyone with kiddos.Kid-friendliness: Laid back environment, where getting dirty is okay. You can relax here as a parent and not have to worry. The kids are preoccupied drawing on the paper table cloths. Loved it!“
“The entry way message was very welcoming and positive as well as the staffs. Our server was very knowledgeable and professional and personable. The parran, with gumbo and gator bites are scrumptious. Love having options or shrimps over crayfish. “This was our first time in. We were sat quickly, the hostess was very friendly and we had Drake as our server. We felt very welcome right from the start. The menu was very overwhelming but Drake helped navigate and patiently answered all our questions even though he seemed busy with other tables. In the end he helped us build a “boil bag” which exceeded our expectations. What a unique restaurant, it was very fun to get to eat with our hands right there on the table. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu and we will be asking for Drake again. This was the best service we have had in Surprise, I hope management here knows what a gem they have. This was also the best seafood we have had in Arizona.“
“The server we had was excellent. She was very, very attentive, warm, and inviting the restaurant itself does not have a lot of space when it comes to large parties. Not to say that they can’t accommodate them, but accommodating more than one large party would not be ideal in the size of this restaurant, my sister and I were celebrating my 30th birthday so we went in and I ordered muscles both kinds that they offered. I also added corn and sausage to my seafood boil and I got the house sauce. The sauce was amazingly flavorful and not overly salty like I find at many other places many places, I have to ask them to tone down the sodium due to hypertension this restaurant the house sauce did not lack any flavor at all, but it was a manageable level of salt, so I’m very pleased with that and will return again“
“First visit, we were seated promptly, and both food/drinks came out quickly. There was wine on their menu but not in the restaurant.The young waitress was distracted and forgot us after that. The food was good and fresh. For the price and service quality, I doubt we will return.The crab fries made the meal worthwhile.“
“My husband & I originally walked in to look at their menu and saw the souvenir penny smashing machine and got pennies which I collect. Since then we went for dinner. I thought i had left a review at that time but it looks like I didn't. I know my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were very delicious but neither of us can remember what we had. Ok we are old! The service was fine and we will be returning! Highly recommend!!“
