El Gordo Mexican Grill #9 is located diagonally at the intersection of Cactus and N 67th Ave, behind gas pumps inside a gas station lobby. The place is very clean, with a chandelier adding a unique touch. The employees are friendly and the service is excellent. The food is fabulous, flavorful, and inexpensive, with many choices on the menu, although the portions of rice and beans are small. The salsa has a unique "rough" taste worth trying. There is no music, but the experience and food quality make it a five-star visit.
