I added some cucumber salad and the house dressing along with extra cucumbers, cilantro and friend crunchy onions. I wish there was a location closer to me!!“

The biggest improvement, the vibrant young gal working the front register and etc. She was very energetic, positive, quick, and friendly (compared to the man that was there always in the past -not the owner/chef, a diff guy). She’s a GREAT addition to your place!

The chef makes The Best Katsu Chicken. It’s made with Panko bread crumbs which also make a huge difference vs other crumbs.

I had to get the Pineapple Fried Rice w BBQ Chicken as this is a favorite of mine. There are so many flavors and textures! Please know my photo, I personally chop my grilled chicken up into small dice so the dish has equal bites.

The portions are large to share or have left overs, which I love!

I also recommend their Sticky Rice and Spring Rolls/Lumpia, so delish!

“I just had a half and half plate its 6 o'clock on a Tuesday, I ordered online for pick up and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. The Katsu and bbq beef was fresh and delicious and the rice and mac salad were great. The poor reviews I read before giving it a shot had me worried but I know now those people were probably already having a bad day and needed an outlet for their frustrations. I will likely come back again as I work nights in the area.“

I recently visited this Hawaiian restaurant and was excited to try their local flavors. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, my enthusiasm was dampened by the staggering amount of plastic used.
Every single item, whether dine-in or takeout, came in non-biodegradable containers and plastic cutlery. Yes, your plastic boxes are the stuffed into plastics bags for you to literally turn and sit and eat them. Why all that packaging to eat in the store?? 🙄. As someone who cares about the environment, this was a major letdown.

As you obviously know Hawaiis commitment to sustainability and preserving its natural beauty is powerful on the island. The islands' efforts to reduce plastic waste and protect marine life are admirable, making this restaurant's excessive plastic use even more disappointing.

If you're looking for a tasty meal, this spot might fit the bill and I won’t mark it down for this but Just be prepared for the environmental trade-off. Hopefully, you rethink some easy packaging choices soon and follow that commitment to the environment. 🌊.“
