“So we had a wonderful experience tonight at Clever Koi The staff was friendly, the wait was short, the ambiance was perfect, the waitress Ash was delightful and great at her job We accidentally ordered a couple items wrong misunderstanding the pricing but they comped it which was not expected but appreciated We absolutely loved the Ramen, the steamed buns & the Vegetarian Chow Mein The Ramen bowls are huge! The mushrooms were my favorite thing We bought two bottles of their house made Sriracha sauce Overall best experience anywhere in a long time! Complete opposite experience than Jobot Coffee & Bar“

“I love Gogi, me and my wife drive up from Tucson just to eat here often. We get the bento boxes, the sweet and spicy wings and their extra spicy Korean wings every time! They are hooot but soo tasty , they are worth the sweat. The owner and his staff are always so polite with smiles. Recommend 10/10 for locals and visitors.“

“I have gotten the combo which has crispy chicken and steamed chicken and it comes with rice, cucumbers, a broth, and then I got the Thai sauce. Highly recommend the Thai sauce. And the pomegranate tea. The steamed chicken is so moist and tender. It’s literally unreal. The crispy chicken is so good. It doesn’t feel way down. Everything is light.
It’s so clean. This is my first time will be coming back.“

“First time going and the vegan options were clearly labeled and very good. The eggplant was beautiful, fresh and tasty. Spinach bao was unique and good. The food was worth the wait. They appear short staff but they are really trying. I saw a sign they are trying to hire additional help. The 2 gentleman provided excellent service : Samson, and our amazing waiter whose name I didn’t catch, were very hardworking and very nice. It was just the 2 of them on a busy Saturday night.“

“Kembara is a restaurant full of elevated Asian street food, one dish after the other was the next best thing we've tasted. The flavors are divine! It is hard to put the explosion of flavors your palate tastes into words that would do justice to what we experienced with each bite but let me tell you, I can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Chef Angelo Sosa and Penny Tagliarina. We were fortunate enough to meet both of them and tour the kitchen, fan girl'd out to say the least. These humble humans are so kind and their passion for creating exquisite food and drinks has been knocked out of the park. They exude pride in what they do, and they do it well! The food and drinks are visually stunning, along with the atmosphere. We all enjoyed your delicious food Chef's (especially the Tuna Thai Jewel soup, Chicken Satay skewers, Low mein noodles, Fried Crab rice, and the Steamed Pork Dumplings, but let's not forget the epic drinks. The drink list is so unique we tried a few but hands down the winner tonight was called Joy Luck Club: it had Angel's Envy Bourbon, Pusser's Rum, Coconut Milk, and Yuzu. Chef Angelo rounded our evening out by sending over sake, I must say it was the best sake I've ever tasted) and the evening was everything we hoped it would be. Our server Megan went above and beyond by delivering an experience that matched no other. Her knowledge of the menu, drinks, creation of the meals, and restaurant makes her a true gem to this team. “Our first time trying Taiwan Mama. We arrived before noon on a Saturday and we were the first dine-in customers (staff was working on takeout orders in the kitchen when we arrived). The young lady who helped us was very kind and gave us recommendations and a small strawberry smoothie for my kid. We ordered a braised pork belly and popcorn chicken bento, braised beef soup noodles, and sweet and sour fish (served with rice). Along with an Okinawa milk tea with boba. The braised pork belly was cooked very nicely; I personally felt the flavor was mild and could use more punch. Popcorn chicken was fresh and hot - could use more seasoning on it. The braised beef soup noodle had a rich yet not too heavy broth; thanks to the tomatoes and carrots. It was not a fancy looking bowl but had the taste and coziness of home cooking (hence Taiwan Mama we supposed!). The sweet and sour fish was piping hot. We enjoyed the light breading and fry on the fish fillet and the tangy sauce. The Okinawa milk tea was decent. The boba texture was not our favorite but we appreciated the staff giving us a new tea as she forgot to put the boba in the original order.

Pleased to finally have a Taiwanese place closer to us. We will come back to try other dishes on the menu.“
