“This is the most authentic hawaii fast restaurant my family and I have been too since we moved here from Vegas 3 years ago. The food is ridiculously delicious and huge amount for your money. I will most certainly be coming back here whenever we are craving real Hawaiian food. It’s a 35 minutes drive well worth more with traffic but it’s ok.“

“The ribs are absolutely phenomenal. The meat smoking process makes the ribs tender, flavorful, and melt in your mouth. These are the best ribs in AZ hands down. Don’t even get me started on the fried chicken….. it’s fried in beef tallow, it’s crispy when you bite into the meat, and then you’re hit with the most moist texture. It’s like rotisserie chicken tender but fried. It’s giving KFC original recipe from back in the day. “So we weren’t planning BBQ for dinner, but we were picking up my car from next door at North Mountain Auto (great mechanics by the way!) and my husband and I smelled something amazing from Hek yeah. We immediately knew what was for dinner and went in to order. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is nice! We are big supporters of small, local businesses and this is now added to our list of favorite places. The food was great and the pricing was reasonable. The hush puppies were so tasty, as was the fried mac and cheese and green beans. The sauces they had available were all good, but our favorite was the Firehouse Red. We tried the pulled pork, brisket and St. Louis Ribs - all were fantastic! We also felt like the prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food we got. “Can't get enough of their baby back ribs, and their to go service is awesome. Usually dine in at Surprise location, which is always busy, but they have good bar service. But usually get it to go at their Tatum location. Not the best steaks in town, but worth the visit and price is good.“

I'm in town for a conference and I was able to create my own bowl with cabbage, glass noodles, korean bbq and veggies and for $15 you get a giant portion, honestly enough for 2 meals and a large fountain drink. The person who helped me was cheery and helpful when I was indecisive on a few things. Would definitely come here again! The only thing I would suggest is looking at the menu ahead of time as it's not like chipotle or cava where everything is all out in front of you to choose from - they cover their ingredients (which I'm a big fan of) so it's helpful to know a bit more ahead of time.“
