Chopper John’s is one of our all time favorite haunts. I’m a native Phoenician and I’ve seen a lot of our old so I’ve bars transform into hipster hangouts but not this one! Strong drinks with a smile and great live music with no cover brings us back several times a month. They have very limited bar food but it’s all great. Honestly was going through the most difficult time during my birthday with life stuff but they made it AMAZING!! From the bartenders, atmosphere and music ☺️ I literally can’t complain. I highly recommend this bar. Reminded me of Alaska dive bars basically the same atmosphere. Come here for a quick stop!
Bar is decently clean ceiling kinda gross falling apart in some areas, I’ve never been harassed more by drunk 30+ year older men then at this dive bar had too guys try and grab my arm and block my way as I tried to go outside trying to get my attention and at a point yelled at the man while sitting at the bar as he’s spittting all drunk in my face being a first timer I’ll never come back unless my group has to do a event here again worst experience never been more uncomfortable...
