Not sure what the hype was about this spot, it was ok didn't care for there "mild sauce" that is sweet, was looking for some spice. That may be a Chicago thing and i was just unfamiliar IDK. I ordered gizzard and wing combo and did not get my wing either.
I'm from Gary Indiana and I didn't know this restaurant was here in Arizona. I got a three piece perch dinner. Ate there, it was good but it was fried a little too hard for me. I understand a lot of people like their fish fried hard, but I feel they need to be told first before they just automatically fry people's fish hard. Had my 1st meal today and I have to admit it took me way back. It made me remember why I've always loved Harold's Chicken. To have this stone in my new adopted city makes me love the city of Phoenix that much more. I will be back.
