This is a fantastic place if you're looking for some Mexican food that has a unique Arizona flavor! The atmosphere was really great on Tuesday evening; they were playing and singing songs, which added to the overall vibe. I had a wonderful time there, and I'm definitely planning on coming back again soon!
Good food and nice place
I’m in love with this charming Mexican restaurant! It was exactly what I was looking for. I’m not a fan of chain restaurants or large restaurants that have a corporate feel. This place was small, welcoming, and seemed to be family-owned. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Scottsdale!

The food is delicious and authentic, with popular options like smoked pulled pork tacos, potato tacos, and the award-winning pechuga rellena. Portions are generous, and the chips and salsa are always fresh. Los Sombreros also offers a great selection of drinks, including margarita flights and options for kids, making it a wonderful spot for casual outings or group events. While the restaurant is a little on the pricey side for South Scottsdale, the quality of ingredients justifies the cost. The vibe is enjoyable, though flies can be an issue on the patio during hotter months, but the fire pits make it lovely in the winter.
