Been here twice now, and both times the food was good. This place is the poster-child for "hole in the wall"; very small, not much to look at from the outside. Dirt parking lot. They have very limited seating inside, and a few tables outside. We did take out both visits, and it looks like most of their business is to-go orders. First time we had carne asada burritos. My Mexican stepmother married my Dad when I was 6. I am 70 now. I enjoyed really good authentic Mexican food growing up, and often after I left home. I also spent a lot of time in central Mexico, so I know excellent Mexican food. The food at Mayas is as good as it gets.
Have you ever wondered where the day went?? And when it's time to make dinner, you're too dang exhausted to come up with anything. Oh my! Try the Charcoal grilled chicken special! Only on Thursdays and Saturdays. Delicious food to feed the whole family! With food to spare! This is our favorite chicken in the area by far! Moist and full of flavor!
