“Came to pick up Tilapia and seen a great selection of Meats, combo meals, candies, and bread. We had to try the menudo and while we were waiting we tried their fresh bread coming out of the oven! Definitely coming back to try more. Super excited to have a place like this nearby!“
“Some of the best street tacos I have ever had! Highly recommend the carnitas and pastor. Service was quick and the person taking my order was very friendly. Loved hearing the cooks singing back in the kitchen too. Just felt like a welcoming and comfortable place. A must visit for some authentic Mexican!“
“The meat quality that you get from here is amazing. The happy boxes that are available are worth the price. Better than that the quality of food that you get is amazing. They also offer a fruit and veggie box which is absolutely packed with fruits and vegetables. The story itself offers cooked meals and raw meats that tastes better than the store-bought. You get to support a family-owned business. The owner of this place is absolutely wonderful. They were lacking some of the items for the last fruit and veggie box. So they decided to add extra items to make sure that they were still getting good amount of quality fruits and vegetables.“
“Visited for the first time, I have passed by, and when I don't see it empty, it's full. I was surprised it was not that big and more surprised to see there was a tortilla maker, nothing better than fresh tortillas. It's quickly began to get busy as we ordered, so the service got slower, but the chicken with mole I ordered with flour tortilla was great.. atmosphere was super cozy and colorful. Mexican decor brightened up the place beautifully .“
“I love El asadero! Their food is authentic. We typically go for breakfast and order the Chilles deluxe with Carne Asada on it, this dish is full or flavor with just the right spice.. We also order a large bowl of Pozole. The pozole is full or flavor and is a good serving for 2 or more. The service is very friendly and they treat us like family. I recommend El asadero to anyone who asks "who has the best Mexican food around".“
“Great food and friendly service! From the moment we walked in to leaving, they were friendly and seemed happy to see us. We are from so Calif so Mexican food is near & dear to us. We dined here on a Wednesday evening about 5:00pm. The menu offers many choices. We ordered enchiladas carnitas with rice & beans. Very tasty and homemade. The portions were adequate. Not overly huge as many restaurants tend to lean to these days. Our server was so nice and attentive, but not over attentive. We had what we needed. The restaurant was very clean and spacious and appeared to be quite accessible. I would definitely go back, if we lived here. And as we crossed the parking lot to our car, a stranger said hello first and wished us a happy evening!“
“Great hangout spot to grab some yummy snacks. The people who work there are extremely nice. I didn't know anything about the food being served there so they helped me figure out what food to get. My snack was very big (I can't remember what it is called) it filled me up and I'm not sure how but I made room for a frappe. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu.“
“Been here twice now, and both times the food was good. This place is the poster-child for "hole in the wall"; very small, not much to look at from the outside. Dirt parking lot. They have very limited seating inside, and a few tables outside. We did take out both visits, and it looks like most of their business is to-go orders. First time we had carne asada burritos. Real homemade tortillas, generously filled with meat, the carne was nicely seasoned, and the salsa was very good (actually spicy! And definitely homemade). Second visit we got the charcoal chicken special (only available on Thursdays and Saturdays, I think). For around $22, we got a whole chicken pieces that were char-grilled, tortillas, a good sized container of rice and beans, chips, and more of that good salsa. Will definitely be hitting Mayas for take out on a regular basis.“
“My daughter & i tried the one in Prescott a few mos. ago very good. Sun was my moms heavenly 99th bday so i told my daughter i wonder if thats the same one as in Prescott? So we went to find out, it was just as good but closer to our house. We were very pleased & will go back. Been here in Prescott Valley 3yrs. The best Mexican Restaurant yet . I got a combo w/ cheese enchilada & a pork tamale, rice & beans. My daughter got a sweet corn tamale, chile relleno, rice & black beans all so good ???. Heavenly 99th bday mom ? ??“
“This time, a quick bite with my best buddy...He has a crispy shredded beef taco and a soda of their refried beans (ridiculously good beans)He raved about the beef and the beans.I had the lengua taco and, of course - the beans (did I mention the beans are awesome!?)Simple, awesome tacos.I prefer to order 1 and use the 2 tortillas they provide to make 2 slightly more manageable tacos. Most XLNT!...ask for their hotter salsas - and try them all!Our party had the fish taco special and two shredded beef Chimis, enchilada style. 1 green sauce and 1 red. All were great! Filled up a bit at the free salsa bar, with cucumber slices, sour cream and guacamole. 4 other salsas, radishes, etc... Didn't save room for the flan, though. Maybe next time?“
“We both agreed the salsa had a "different" flavor, did grow on us. Also ordered the vegetarian burritos, they are HUGE, but also had a different flavor.Vegetarian options: There are a couple vegetarian burritos and I imagine they can make some things vegetarian if you ask“
“Still the best of all the ones in tri valley area simply because they still make all there stuff fresh while everyone is going to pre packaged they still care enough to make it themselves there bean burritos are so good and the carne asada nachos are amazing always fresh chips there still warm I always ask for nachos on the side and dip in a must try“
“We went on a very busy Taco Tuesday. Had to wait to be seated, but not long. The two young ladies did a great job of getting everyone taken care of. The food was served quickly and was very good. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Keep up the good work. We will be back.“
“Delicious food and great customer service from a locally owned restaurant. We were passing through Prescott Valley and found this little gem on Yelp. My husband and I lived in Mexico and miss it's delicious food. At Taqueria Don Omar, I had the tacos al pastor (street tacos)- one chicken and 2 pork. The seasoning was just like the actual street tacos in Mexico with fresh onions and cilantro. The dollop of guac they added on top was a nice flavorful touch. The It came with rice and beans, all of which was delicious and were just like those found in Mexico. My husband had the Don Omar Roll. It was filled with al pastor meat, onion, and cilantro, in a nice crispy pan seared tortilla. It also came with a cup of consume that you could pour overtop, which my husband said was delicious. Additionally, the employees were warm and inviting and showed they genuinely cared about our satisfaction. Lastly, the restaurant was clean as was the restroom. We give this place 2 thumbs up. Next time we're passing through Prescott Valley, we'll be sure to stop in again!“
