“I've been eating there for years and about a year ago I took my granddaughter and she was in heaven after her first bite. Now every time I go visit her in Chandler I have to stop at China Chef and pick up her favorite lunch specials. She loves beef and broccoli, orange chicken and it comes with her favorite fried rice. There's so much food that she has lunch and dinner served from both of those meals. I've been eating there for many years and everyone is always nice even though they are working so hard. I've never had a bad experience with the food or the staff so if you're looking for delicious, authentic, mom and pop style Chinese food give them a try.“

I was missing an item, didn’t even realize it, and the sweetheart at the counter called me fairly promptly to let me know. “We have been coming here since 2010 and the food is freshly made comes out steamy hot every time. The staff is so friendly and kind. The dine in area is always clean and never have to worry about waiting for the tables to be cleaned. I would highly suggest the house lo mein noodles this is my family Favorite also if you like king pao you can ask to have it made with extra spice. We will continue to come here because the food is so good. 😊“

The food was extraordinary - some of the best orange chicken, hot and sour soup, and fried rice you'll ever taste! But it wasn't just the food that made our experience memorable. Our young server (whose name I regrettably can't recall) went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When my elderly mother mentioned feeling chilly, he promptly adjusted the air conditioning. Within minutes, she was comfortable again.

This level of attentiveness is rare, and it truly set this dining experience apart. The combination of amazing food and exceptional service has left a lasting impression on us. We're grateful to our server, who clearly takes pride in his work and treats customers with genuine care. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning!“

“The food here is great! I did delivery and they were prompt and friendly! I ordered kung pao shrimp. The rice was perfect. The veggies were cooked just enough to retain their crispness and flavor. The shrimp were plump and delicious. The portions are large! The spring rolls are fresh and tasty! I have found my Mesa garden spot!“

“I’ve been looking for a new Chinese restaurant. I’m not usually a huge fan of the spring rolls but wow, these ones were amazing. I think there was a hint of lemon grass or something amazing. The crab Rangoon was so perfectly crunchy, but not too hard it was flaky. I had sesame chicken fried rice, a crab Rangoon, a spring roll and a bowl of soup. The portion was huge. For dinner out the door $20 total with tip. I was the only one eating in the restaurant at the time, but it was a very clean orderly place. The soup came first then the appetizer and then the meal. It was a lot of food and I was able to take more than half of the rice and meat home. I’ll definitely be going back. I would have to say that the dinner meal is really a two person meal.“

“Had not been here in a few years but the food is still great, the lunch specials have changed but it is still as fulfilling as always. Didn't spend more than 11 dollars. There is no more soda fountains, but they do sell canned or bottled drinks and water. Dined in and we were served and catered at our table by the hostess. Food portions are still huge. A must try restaurant.“
