“When I want close n quick, this is my go-to. I only order to go. U can dine in but u may not want to. Inside needs a facelift and only 4 booths. The front guy is SOOO rude and short with guests but it’s kinda part of the experience I guess? I recommend the Kung Pao chicken. $13 bucks for lunch but they give u a healthy portion, easily serve ya 2-3 times. Lots of flavor lots of chicken. Rice is always perfectly cooked?“

I was missing an item, didn’t even realize it, and the sweetheart at the counter called me fairly promptly to let me know. “I've been eating there for years and about a year ago I took my granddaughter and she was in heaven after her first bite. Now every time I go visit her in Chandler I have to stop at China Chef and pick up her favorite lunch specials. She loves beef and broccoli, orange chicken and it comes with her favorite fried rice. There's so much food that she has lunch and dinner served from both of those meals. I've been eating there for many years and everyone is always nice even though they are working so hard. I've never had a bad experience with the food or the staff so if you're looking for delicious, authentic, mom and pop style Chinese food give them a try.“

“Delicious food, served fast at a reasonable price. I got hot and sour soup and Mongolian beef, and my partner got house lo mein. All were fast and tasty. The hot and sour soup was the perfect consistency, not too thick, which a lot of Chinese places in the area seem to do incorrectly.“

“Nice, bright little restaurant with delicious food. Very clean, servers very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait to be seated and we got our food in a very reasonable amount of time. The soup was a favorite with us, both won ton and egg flower soup. This restaurant has a good selection of dishes to choose from and reasonable prices with good serving sizes. “The food here is great! I did delivery and they were prompt and friendly! I ordered kung pao shrimp. The rice was perfect. The veggies were cooked just enough to retain their crispness and flavor. The shrimp were plump and delicious. The portions are large! The spring rolls are fresh and tasty! I have found my Mesa garden spot!“

“I’ve been looking for a new Chinese restaurant. I’m not usually a huge fan of the spring rolls but wow, these ones were amazing. I think there was a hint of lemon grass or something amazing. The crab Rangoon was so perfectly crunchy, but not too hard it was flaky. I had sesame chicken fried rice, a crab Rangoon, a spring roll and a bowl of soup. The portion was huge. For dinner out the door $20 total with tip. I was the only one eating in the restaurant at the time, but it was a very clean orderly place. The soup came first then the appetizer and then the meal. It was a lot of food and I was able to take more than half of the rice and meat home. I’ll definitely be going back. I would have to say that the dinner meal is really a two person meal.“

“Had not been here in a few years but the food is still great, the lunch specials have changed but it is still as fulfilling as always. Didn't spend more than 11 dollars. There is no more soda fountains, but they do sell canned or bottled drinks and water. Dined in and we were served and catered at our table by the hostess. Food portions are still huge. “I had an appointment in Gilbert and I was starving. I pulled into this plaza and saw Wild Ginger. I stopped in to do a take out order. I saw the pan fried noodles. ordered and swallowed the meal 😋. I added it to my Google maps to return so that I could dine in next time I was in the area. It took me several months to return but it was worth driving 32 miles to eat here along with some great friends. It's cozy and romantic and decor is nice. The servers need to be more friendly and engaging. I did like the consistency of the food from my first impression. We ordered pan fried noodles, Singapore noodles, pineapple fried rice and fried tofu for dessert. No disappointments.“
