“Honestly, food this good should be illegal. I’m not a deep dish pizza fan, but honestly, this place made me love it. It’s the kind of food you miss, hanker for, daydream about. The staff is excellent, food is always fresh and hot. Pizza takes a bit, but I promise, you can’t rush perfection on these pies, with fresh ingredients, and a taste that will leave your jaw on the floor. I won’t stop coming here.”

“I had the Brisket sandwich for lunch. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The bun did not fall apart while eating the sandwich and the BBQ sauce was very good. Baked beans were very palatable also.”

“AMAZING service. Since they don't take reservations, we called ahead since we were a party of 8. They had a table ready and waiting for us. Alicia was our server and she was PHENOMENAL. We had such an awesome experience. I even got my parents from Minnesota to have a shrimp boil (which they thought was SPICY but still ate every bit of it)! It truly seemed like everyone at this location has immense pride in their work. We hope to come back in the future!”

The girl suggested food for my daughter and made sure to tell me ahead of time that breadcrumbs came in the Mac n cheese and she’d leave them out if I’d like. “Terrace Restaurant is an absolute gem in San Tan Valley! It offers some of the best outdoor dining views, particularly during sunset, overlooking the Johnson Ranch Golf Club. Their Taco Tuesdays and Friday BBQs with live music are must-try events, and the smoked brisket sandwich is truly outstanding—juicy, tender, and perfectly smoked. It's a wonderful, casual spot with a community feel for great food and drinks.”

“The staff here are absolutely phenomenal! I arrived 15 minutes before our pizza was ready and had to wait with my boys (ages 5 and 9) who were already feeling cranky. I was not anticipating waiting to be a pleasant experience. Fortunately, an employee was folding pizza boxes at the counter and my kids were fascinated. They asked to watch and she agreed, explaining the process along the way. When my boys asked if they could try, she said they could and coached them through the process. My kids ended up helping to fold boxes until our pizza was ready. Other employees popped in to help and monitor when the original employee had to answer the phone or help a customer. What would have been a miserable 15 minutes turned into a wonderful experience. My kids left the restaurant declaring that their first jobs would be at Barro’s. The bonus to all this is that the pizza was absolutely delicious. We will definitely go there again!”

“I have to shout out one specific barista on 4/25, Sam, and she was amazing. Not only was she working insanely hard and staying calm during a huge rush, but she was also genuinely so funny. Like, effortlessly funny in a way that made the whole experience feel lighter and more enjoyable even with a long line. She handled every order with care, stayed friendly the entire time, and still managed to joke around and entertain me. That kind of energy is rare. And the whole team deserves recognition too, everyone was moving nonstop, supporting each other, and keeping things running smoothly despite how busy it was. It’s not easy, but they made it look effortless. I can’t imagine how hard these kids work to keep up with the demands, but I appreciate everyone’s hard work and kindness. I’ll be honest, I never tip, but today I absolutely had to. Sam and the team really earned it. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.”

“Amber, Deseray & April have the BEST personalities, smiles, and customer service at panda! I was treated with the utmost respect! Thank you!! Sam, she was very rude and I always come here. She argued with me because I asked for more food, she lacked friendliness and even shoved my tray at me due to me asking for more chicken. My tray hit the computer and my food tipped, she had to catch it. She turned away with an attitude and didn’t apologize or wish me well. The manager handled the situation graciously. “We dropped in after deciding to having something a little lighter than other options. My wife and I shared a salad and as always it was great. The staff were great! Dylan was a really nice and chatting young fella. He came and checked on us while we ate. Kaitlyn was amazing at the register. She was so considerate and kind.
While we were eating my wife noticed that all the staff were working hard at cleaning the store or preparing food. It was actually really refreshing.”
