“You want great BBQ? Dickey's is the best. The food is fantastic and their people working there are really, really nice.Especially Bob the Catering Coach and Kerri the mgr. We recently had a problem when the Dickey's close to our house clzd without warning. We had a 3 day celebration scheduled over the holidays for our first responders and NO FOOD. In stepped Bob and Kerri from the Pima Rd Dickey's and took care of everything. "Don't worry we got you covered, everything is ok. It was great having such caring people. Like I said "Dickey's is the best. Thank you all for helping us out and making our "guys" happy. 😁“

“I was waiting at Discount Tire for a tire repair and needed a late lunch and what better could I ask for than cowboy bbq. I had the pulled pork and fries. There was a comment made at the door that outside food and beverage wasn't allowed, but having no place to stash my water bottle I took it to my table. The waitress also asked if I knew outside drink was allowed, they seemed OK when I ordered a coke. Sandwich was served quickly with a smile. The only issue I had was with Google showing the restaurant was busy, when it wasn't yet even though it was Friday afternoon. I almost didn't go, not having time to wait. Glad I went anyway.“

“Had a truly excellent meal at Liz Modern Asian when I was traveling to Scottsdale. We were shopping at the new Lego store across the street and jumped in about an hour before they closed. Not being a huge fan of chain restaurants, we were delighted to find that this was a family-owned establishment.

The food was excellent and Liz herself came out to chat with us to make sure that everything lived up to our expectations. They even brought out a big bowl of fresh, homemade dumplings for our table to share. They were delicious. After chatting for a short while, we made our way out and, as we were leaving, Liz asked us if we wanted to wait a few moments she'd send us home with some fresh beef dumplings (the ones we had were pork)! Unfortunately, we were flying out the next day and couldn't take them.

I would absolutely go visit with Liz and her family again the next time I'm in Scottsdale and I'd recommend you do the same if you're in the area. And def try the dumplings--they were epic.“

“First time at Rudy's. It's very self serve other than getting your tray of food. Grab your own drink, plasticware, napkins and garnish. Brisket and pulled pork were the most tender I've ever had. The bun was fresh and soft. Wet naps would be helpful with the sticky fingers. One ick factor, the community bottle of BBQ sauce at the tables are handled by everyone and then you eat with the same hands. Sort of unsanitary.“

“Was honestly really surprised I ended up liking this place as much as I did! I was hesitant because I feel like it's a fast food place but with hawaiian food. But it was very good and did not seem like fast food at all. The food was quality and you get alot for your dollar. The store and cashier were alittle iffy, store was dirty and the soda station was very dirty. And the cashier didn't have the best attitude but the food was good! Would I go again, probably so, but maybe not going during rush hour.“
