“The service was great even when it was busy . The food was okay, we had the Cajun shrimp and it was a bit watery/soupy and spicy with a lack of flavor. The shots were a bit over priced. It was still a fun place and the patio looked like a nice spot to enjoy.“

I had the Ahi Tuna Salad - delicious but could have had more tuna for $28. The Miso salmon and Blackened Redfish were also enjoy. We didn't sit on the patio as it was cold but it looked nice. “Jeff immediately welcomed us with a smile and warm reception then provided amazing service and wine recommendations. He served us a Pinot noir that was super deep and bold, and I honestly thought he poured the wrong varietal. He was so gracious and brought out the bottle (for our examination ) and poured a small sample next to our glass of wine to compare. Indeed it was a big bold Pinot noir by Meiomi Vineyards. The salmon BLT was big enough to split between my wife and I and was absolutely delicious and grilled to perfection. What a surprising dinner venue and great service provided by Jeff. Highly recommend.“

“Delivered here as their bread vendor for 2 years. Never any issues until Bradley their part owner neglected to order extra for a holiday. He then cancelled a delivery day of, sticking me with their product. Then chose not to pay 3 invoices totaling over $1,500. I will happily send his completely unprofessional text messages to anyone that wants them. For a cash only business to stiff their vendor -that's the type of people you'll deal with here. They've been through multiple managers since they brought on their business partner and it shows. Bradley knows how to get in touch with me and pay his bill, otherwise the BBB and small claims is where this goes.“

“Came for a work event, so I can't speak to prices. However, the style and design choices for the furnishings, bar, lighting, and various rooms/patio were excellent, and the food was very good. We had the charcuterie board, sushi boat with spicy tuna and Cali rolls, fried shrimp with what may be a sesame glaze (sorry, i didn't look at the menu to verify if I'm right), lamb chops with parmesan potatoes, pretzel bites, and a dessert tower with mini cheesecake bites and brownie bites. Not. A. Single. Miss. Everything was incredible. I took home two to-go boxes since the group barely ate half of the spread. Service was impeccable. I was asked about a refill every time I finished a drink. The staff were on point 100% of the time. The only thing I noticed was that the room we were in got hot since it faced NW and had no AC. But it's AZ, that comes with the summer months. Plus, they moved us to the back bar area once it was opened, which was perfect. Was a great experience, and I can't wait to come back with my wife.“

“Our food was great (I had the Fringe Salad and my husband had the Clubhouse sandwich), we enjoyed eating outside with a partial view of the golf course, and our server was fantastic. The only thing that bothered us for a while was a couple of guys smoking cigars a couple tables away! Apparently they were allowed to do so, being more than 20 feet from the door. Perhaps that's the letter of the law...but it seemed very inappropriate to allow them to be smoking in the dining area of a Marriott-related location. Word to the wise, the sandwich is HUGE, and so it the basket of fries that you can order. Plan accordingly!“

“Houston’s has been one of our favorite restaurants for nearly 40 years! We’ve been to the restaurants in different cities and have never been disappointed until now. While the service was good, the pork chop I ordered was so bland! It was not seasoned at all! Such a disappointment! My husband ordered the chicken which used to be called Apricot chicken, but now they have removed the fruit from the menu so we inquired and were told it was the same. It was not the same! The apricot flavored sauce served separately, was watery and barely tasted of apricot. The chicken was so bland and unseasoned that it was just meat! The vegetables served with both meals were good, as always. We ordered a diet coke for the beverage and received an 8 oz bottle of Diet Coke for $3.00 with no refills! My goodness! The only dessert on the menu was Key Lime Pie. We inquired and were informed that there were more desserts that were not on the menu. Well, why not put them on the menu? My favorite apple walnut with ice cream has been served at Houston’s since forever! Why not put it on the menu?
Mostly we were very disappointed with the 2 entrees (the meats) and will not be inclined to return to this location again.
We actually left most of it on the plates, and took none with us.“

I have been a frequent guest over the past 6 years but can no longer go on weekends as for some god awful reason they have decided to have DJ’s. The music is incredibly loud and you can carry on a conversation!“
