“Absolutely delicious and good service too! The tater tots are something else, very nice touch with the pickled jalapeños. The fish and chips are so good, the fish is perfectly flaky and moist. The fries are nice and thick! I wasn’t crazy about the wings, but that could be my taste buds. They haven’t been the same since I got COVID in 2021. Anyways, 5 stars.“

“Solid above average food. Brussel sprouts were really on point for an appetizer as well as the macaroni and cheese. Thete is a nice cheesy grits on the side dish menu that I liked as well. For dessert we tried the tiramisu which was really large and quite sweet for a tiramisu. Tiramisu is one of my all-time favorites. I've never had one even close to this sweet. So this was a disconnect for me.

Overall, These guys use quality ingredients and put out a good plate of food. It's not a place I'm going to be craving non-stop, but will definitely be back.“

I was visiting and got together with a couple of girlfriends and we met at GrassRoots, none of us had ever been her. “Jeff immediately welcomed us with a smile and warm reception then provided amazing service and wine recommendations. He served us a Pinot noir that was super deep and bold, and I honestly thought he poured the wrong varietal. He was so gracious and brought out the bottle (for our examination ) and poured a small sample next to our glass of wine to compare. Indeed it was a big bold Pinot noir by Meiomi Vineyards. The salmon BLT was big enough to split between my wife and I and was absolutely delicious and grilled to perfection. What a surprising dinner venue and great service provided by Jeff. Highly recommend.“

Our server/bartender Antonio truly provided great service - he had an amazing knack for appearing at the exact moment we looked to order another round of drinks! Truly uncanny. We stopped there because of their Happy Hour that is hosted everyday even on Saturdays and it did not disappoint. Great drinks and great appetizers (went with the grilled wings and the pulled pork egg rolls). We were visiting Scottsdale for the weekend and The Parlay is a must-do anytime we visit Scottsdale in the future.“

I liked the meat lover pizza and the jess, but I wouldn't recommend the sticky fingers pizza unless you like the sweet honey flavor on your pizza. Pizza is $10 on Mondays which is a steal for sure!!

Jewels, our new server, provided excellent service, checking in regularly to ensure everything was satisfactory. When we expressed a concern about our dessert, Jewels promptly brought it to the attention of the manager, Jonathan. He went out of his way to address our concerns, even though we reassured him it wasn't necessary. Additionally, Chef Danny stopped by our table to see how we were doing, which added a personal touch to our visit. “The average lifespan of a restaurant is said to be 3-4 to 5 years in the Phoenix area and it is not surprising that Chef Dom's Hush has been up and running for over 6 years at this point! The food continues to be consistently delicious and local ingredient driven. Service has always been top-notch and the kitchen is as accommodating at it can be. Sam and other have taken wonderful care of us and Chef Alex is always concerned about the quality of the delivered product. The atmosphere is what the name implies...Public House. It is not pretentious yet the food is creative, as high end as you like, and always imaginative. Thank you Chef Dom and Crew with a special appreciation for Regina and FOH management as well.

“We had a great experience with the food, staff, and vibe of this place. Lots of outdoor and semi outdoor seating. Packed place for lunch but we still snagged a table with no problem. The staff were super kind and very attentive.

Only issues is that I would say that most of the seating is lounge type outdoor cushioned chairs which is a certain vibe but might not always be how people want to eat or sit. You’re either leaning far back or sitting at the edge forward.

The atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is talking and hanging out. Very fun. Would like to return in the evening.“
