When this place opened I thought it was the best Panda Express I've been to and it stayed that way for a long time but recently in the past 6 months it is slowly going downhill. I went there tonight, Saturday night 7:45 a.m. string bean chicken the string beans were different levels of three plates ago two plates ago and the newest one walnut shrimp was horrible and the chow mein was not even edible it was old and they still had an hour to go before they close I believe I'll stop...read full review

Panda Express offers consistent and generally good food, with friendly staff and a clean environment. The orange chicken bowl with plain rice can be better, but the orange chicken is juicy and the rice is cooked perfectly when fresh. The portions are big and the food is excellent, serving as dinner for two nights or even three meals. The chicken teriyaki and white rice (bigger plate) is a good deal, healthy, and meets your macros for the day. Beverages are a bit expensive, but the restaurant is one of the fastest in Arizona, with quick service. The drive-through is fast, and the food is fresh and delicious. The Panda Express app saves 20% and racks up points and rewards, making it super easy and convenient. The bigger plate is a better value than a large a la carte. Highly recommend getting the sauce on the side to manage sodium.
The staff, including Eva, Jasmine, and Fernando, are friendly and handle busy times well. They stay calm and even have friendly conversations during rushes, showing patience even when large orders are placed for group meetings. Their great service deserves recognition. However, the restaurant's opening hours can be frustrating. Although it says it opens at 8:30 am, it is often not open until later, and sometimes items are not cooked yet, causing delays. This makes it hard for customers with limited lunch breaks, especially those starting work early, to eat there on time.
Additionally, there have been issues with wait times at the counter. Sometimes, even when the line is short, staff take a while to respond or acknowledge customers. For example, it took ten minutes to get served, and staff seemed a bit rude or impatient. Despite this, the food remains good, and customers still enjoy their meals.
