“They have the best coffee around! Everything is good - the latte, drip, cold brew. It’s never bitter and always smooth. Their food is good too. I love their breakfast burritos!“

“The best part about coming here is how pretty it is!! I honestly could just sit here all day and feel relaxed!
The barista is always so sweet and in a great mood! I need to ask her name next time.
I always get coffee but today I tried a matcha and added some vanilla. It’s really good and even my husband enjoyed it.“

“I visited Press Coffee and ordered the Black Peach tea, which was excellent (I did have honey added). I was there with several friends, and despite the coffee shop being nearly full, the staff did a great job getting everyone’s drinks out efficiently.
One downside is parking—it’s very difficult to find nearby since the shop is located within an apartment-style complex. There is outdoor seating available, but be aware that conversations can be often drowned out by frequent airplanes flying overhead.“

“Cartel Roasting Co. has a great variety of roasted coffee beans. Once you get used to Cartel Coffee quality, you will find yourself returning for more.“
“***EDIT: NOT A COFFE SHOP*** The Espressions team is second to none. Professional and kind with an excellent selection of custom cold brew. Don't be dissuaded by older poor reviews - new ownership has clearly breathed new life into this locally owned and operated roaster!“

“I cannot say enough good things about the folks and the drinks from Blue House Coffee. From the initial contact through the end of our event, they were friendly, helpful, and professional. Our guests raved about the high quality and the range of drinks that they provided for us. I highly recommend them without any reservations at all!“

“Stopped in while we were downtown to check out the coffee shop. They have a lot of unique specialty drinks, which is fun, but overall the experience was just okay. The drinks were on the pricey side, and nothing stood out enough for me to feel like it’s a spot I’d go back to.“

“The atmosphere is so cute and reminds me of a cabin in the woods, complete with a fireplace, couch, and cushioned armchairs. There is a lot of “America” vibes going on, from country music playing through the speakers and donations collected for the military. Also, their drinks are yummy and surprisingly inexpensive compared to Starbucks.“

“A nice coffee shop from a local/regional chain. Good coffee and the sandwiches, while limited in selection are good. The patio is very nice.“

“Easily my favorite coffee ever. Great product paired with a great staff and you can’t go wrong. I usually get the americano but they always have great snacks to pair with your drinks as well so I recommend those also.“
“Coffee is really really good but your Reuben sandwich is the best ever. I can tell you care about your customers by your quality ingredients. Thank you. I look forward to trying more.“

“Delicious cold brew and service was exceptional!“
“It's a nice and clean store with a pretty good selection of fruits and vegetables in both organic and regular. Nice little deli section is the first thing you pass when you enter. Perfect to get a good sandwich and leave without having to go through the store to exit. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Much more available but I only went in for some fruits...first time here“

“After living in Australia for 4 years and being absolutely spoiled by some of the best coffees you’ll ever drink, majority of the coffee in the US has been pretty subpar.
However, this was hands down the best latte I’ve had since I moved back to the US 4 years ago.
I stumbled upon this place by accident and I unfortunately don’t live in Phoenix. If I lived in this area, this is the only place I would get coffee from.
Absolutely amazing coffee. Highly recommend.“

“We walked in on Dec. 27 to ask about the whole Nespresso “thing”, and what it’s all about, as family at Christmas had a machine and it makes unbelievable coffee!!! We had to see what it’s all about, as we are spending near $500 a month going to Starbux every day, and it’s not even great coffee. ☹️ …..many of you know the rub on THAT! Well, we were told (by family) to try the coffee there at Fashion Square and if we liked it to go directly to the Scottsdale Costco to get the machine, because it is $40 off now. Well, Shannon (our Nespresso barista LOL) price matched the Costco discount! Saving us a trip to Costco…….and you ALL KNOW THE RUB OF STANDING IN LINE AT Costco! Anyway, Shannon was a sweetheart, and handled our purchase of the machine and several sleeves of great flavors to get us started! If you are looking at getting on the Nespresso train, and live in Scottsdale or Fountain Hills, like we do, drop by and ask for Shanon. You will NOT be disappointed.“

“This review for Cortez is long overdue. To add the very short of it at the start, if you live in Arizona and drink freshly roasted coffee daily and you are not buying from Cortez, you need to at least try a bag. My first order was because it was cheaper than other local specificity roasters. I keep returning for more because of Cortez’s unique selection of odd and exciting fermentations and processes (Juicy Lulo springs to mind quickly). It is some of the best coffee you will ever have. Story Time: Sorry, not sorry. I used to go down the street from work and pick up bags from another Arizona roaster; however, I was laid off from GM along with over 900+ other people. I found Cortez by searching for a local coffee roaster that I could order by mail that would not break the bank to save some money. I made my first order on Nov 8th, 2023, and ordered a bag of Columbia Ocampos, plus some other small 8oz bags from Cameroon. I made my first cup of Ocampos and quickly realized that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had, and with that, he had me hooked because, on Nov 22nd, I ordered a second order, then Dec 10th, Dec 22nd; you get the idea... I have been drinking coffee daily from Cortez for over a year, and each new, unique coffee gets better and better. My standard order is a monthly 2lb bag of Vulcan Azul for espresso and each new drop. When writing this, it is Colombia Vergel, which is just… amazing! It is fruity, acidic, and a real treat for the senses; who knew coffee could be so wild and flavorful! I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Cortez at his cafe (The Bright Side) in Tempe once a few months ago. He was an absolute pleasure, and I felt I could speak with him about coffee for quite a while. I ordered a pour-over Finca Amalita (that is his farm, so cool!), which was made in a vandola, and to this day, I have not had a better cup of coffee, and I really need to find some time to go back. Anyway... long story short, buy some Cortez Coffee.“
