I made the reservation 3 weeks previous and desired a table in the main dining room. Was most disappointed when seated in a booth as the back seating is dark. Our server was sweet, meals tasty, one margarita quite strong. Had to wait a half hour for desserts but the manager brought them out with apology and credited us on the bill.
We have never been disappointed in our dining experience at Stables. The food is always excellent, however, the service was very slow especially towards the end of our meal. The server was lackluster. I suppose on a Saturday evening when the restaurant is busiest slow service is to be somewhat expected, however, we had to ask twice about our dessert and the response was "I don't know".

I love the ambiance of this place. I love looking out at the golf course and at the cows and their baby calves. The food is really good and there it ends. My husband and I always like to sit at the bar and talk to the bartender and patrons. Last night we went in and almost had to beg the bartender for a drink.
