I needed a mid-afternoon pick-me-up while shopping in Tucson. Since it was so hot and I LOVE ice cream I stopped at Freddy's. I had a turtle concrete. It was delicious, cold and refreshing with lots of turtle toppings.

Meh ... Not as good as I thought it would be. I only got a burger but it just wasn't impressive at all. A couple of years ago I went to the drive-thru for an ice cream and that was pretty good. But this was my first time going in and getting a burger.

Wow these PRICES are soooo bad. Such high prices for such mediocre food!! The food was fine, it was good, but no way was that sundae worth $7 !! That’s Coldstone Creamery kind of prices for WAY less care and toppings. And the tenders were kinda tiny. The sauces reminded me of McDonalds. Just absurdly mediocre all the way around with very high prices that absolutely aren’t worth it. The decor of the diner itself was very fun and funky, and the folks working were super friendly!...
