“We enjoy The Rattler more than most any other restaurant in Tucson because the food is always wonderful, reasonably priced and the views of the green golf course, pond and mountains so peaceful and beautiful. We absolutely love the BBQ ribs. Their fries, onion rings and the fresh vegetables are great! There is so much food, we nearly always take home a box. Breakfast is delicious too!“

“BUGS BUGS BUGS! Me and my Husband came in here June 08th 2024 for Dinner, the Atmosphere is terrible... They sat us by the bathroom first off when there was other seats and my potatoes salad had flies in it.... My Husband's potatoes salad had flies in it they were mixed into THE SALAD! these were already in it then when they made our food. Absolutely disgusting and they served us this with out even checking the food? That tells you exactly how much these people care about there customers. No discounts, no anything just here is new potatoes salad and have a nice night basically.... Terrible service, disgusting place full of flies. We will never eat here again, and I do not recommend this place to anyone until they figure out there bug problem and how to treat customers right. Absolutely disgusting... It's your guys job to quality check food make sure it does not CONTAIN BUGS. I paid $61.00 for eating bugs..... this is a disgrace of a restaurant!“

“Came in on a Tuesday night expecting it to be slow, but it was actually pretty busy. I noticed most people picking up orders had already called in or ordered online, and I later understood why. I ended up ordering the buffalo, BBQ, and chile lime wings, plus an order of cheese fries.

I arrived around 7:10 p.m. and left around 7:40 p.m., so the wait time was reasonable considering how busy it was. The wings themselves were really good!

The biggest disappointment was the cheese fries. I’m not sure what cheese they use, but it tasted like something cheap, almost like it came from the dollar store and had been sitting for hours. It had a weird flour like taste, like it was stretched to make more. Honestly, I would have preferred plain fries over the cheese they put on them. The fries by themselves were just okay not crispy, not memorable, but edible.

Overall, the wings made the visit decent, but the the cheese fries brought it down. Next time I’ll probably order ahead and definitely skip the cheese fries.“

“The most delicious food. I highly recommend you do take out though. We have been ordering take out from here for years. I wanted my sister and her family to see how delicious it is, so we dined in, and the experience was not good. The owner was rude multiple times. Maybe it’s because we went in 45 minutes before they closed, or maybe it’s because we have kids, but an owner should make customers feel welcomed so they want to come back.“

“The BBQ pork fried rice was delicious as were the crab puffs. The egg rolls were decent. The lo mein lacked flavor. I would return for the rice and puffs alone. My mother, who is vegetarian, doesn't like Chinese food, and hates leftovers ate her veggie entree and kept the rest for dinner the next night.“

“We drove out of our way to go to this place because I hate fast food. We weren't greeted or acknowledged when we walked in. There were 3 boys just working like maniacs with their heads down (seemed like they had a big order maybe). We made our choice off the menu and walked to register and 2 women were there. Still didn't get acknowledged. Finally the younger woman asked if we ordered and we said no. So we went back to the start and stood there and none of the boys said I'll be right with you or anything. Finally the same girl asked our order and we went to the register. While near the register the older lady who seemed like the manager was so rude to a young employee that came up to the register with an order. That place felt so tense and the workers seemed miserable. Sometimes people dont quit employer's they quit managers.
The positive is that the sandwiches we ordered were amazing but the tense environment stressed me out. I can only imagine the poor workers.“
