“This buffalo chicken mac and cheese is the special today!! It was amazing!! The 2 chefs that are working here now are coming up with so many awesome specials!! I’m keeping my eyes on this place to see what new and exciting meals they come up with!!“
“OKAY - so it's not a Five Star kind of place, ... for most folks. But for me and mine, this place was a diamond with some rough edges. It's still a throwback to the old-school hacienda style of how the old west used to look or was imagined to look. Details painted in bold colors, lots of big timber in the decor and windows. Tons of windows. Lunch was a couple of big glasses of iced tea, a thick, juicy Reuben, and house-made chips followed by a peanut butter cookie all of which totally hit the spot. My dining companion had the Filet & Wedge and claimed it to be perfect in every way. The wonderful waitress who served us was cheerful and over-the-top helpful. We were there in the off-season, most of the resort is under some kind of remodel, and I'm pretty sure there were only 3 people running the place - and two of them were being interviewed, which was kind of exciting to watch. She went out of her way to dig up some brochures and explained all the new stuff being built. It wasn't like we were the only people in there either! There was a pretty good crowd of what seemed to be regulars, the way they greeted each other and continued to talk from table to table - and they had a group of 60 finishing up a round of golf headed their way. But really, it's the views. The chairs are comfortable enough to sit for bit and just take it all in with a few slow deep breaths and let the wonder of it all soak in. There might not be much in Wickenburg, but there doesn't have to be. The views are the best attraction there is. It's worth the drive but check for construction detours and if it's the off-season, check to see what's open by calling, don't rely on online info. The other two places I wanted to visit are actually closed for the summer.“
“Normally I just drive through Wickenburg, love the drive. But that I decided to go through a few businesses. The bartender here, didn't get her name, but she was very nice. I had a kilt lifter and chilled on the porch and watched traffic by. No one bothered me as I just relaxed, with a cold beer and went over my thoughts. Will be back.“
“Wij hadden de 8oz Sirloin en de Cobb salad. Toen wij ons eten kregen ging er een live band spelen, dat was het enige minpuntje want op dat moment kon je elkaar nog maar amper verstaan ondanks dat ze leuk speelden. Voor de rest was het goed eten, betaalbaar en hing er een leuke sfeer.“
