“This place is a North Valley institution. We have been coming here since it was just a general store with gas. Now the bar and restaurant. Always friendly faces and phenomenal service. Portions are huge with very reasonable prices. Places like this are harder and harder to find these days. I am moving out of the valley soon and will miss the heck out of this place. “I visit Deli Sports Bar a couple of nights each week, and I wanted to recognize Anthony for the exceptional job he does.

From the time he starts his shift, Anthony makes a point of greeting customers and checking in with people throughout the evening to make sure everyone is doing well and that there are no concerns. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

I’ve also witnessed Anthony calmly and professionally de-escalate situations before they had the chance to become bigger problems. That ability to keep the atmosphere positive and safe is something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

As a newer customer, feeling comfortable in a bar is important to me. Not every bar has an environment where you feel safe, but Anthony’s professionalism, attentiveness, and presence make me feel comfortable and confident coming to Deli Sports Bar. “Visiting from LA came in for a couple of drinks , on Thursday night , had a great time with co-workers , pool tables , darts , live dj on site . Great music our bartender (GREER) 100% recommended , hands down ! Great service , friendly and beautiful smile . I think I’m in love lol .“

“This is a nice taproom with ample choices of your favorite brew. I tried the hefe moon bay and psuedo ale, if that's not your cup of tea there is 16 on draft and plenty more in cans. There is a nice patio with mist too. Inside is a break from the heat and you can catch your favorite game while enjoying your drink.“

“I literally came here once on the night that they were doing “Name that tune” music trivia but it’s interactive teams and the host is so entertaining and hilarious I live right by so I was like I want to work here! I didn’t expect the food to be is good as it is to be honest. Everything I’ve had is great and so much made in house. It’s a sports bar I assumed like the others but because it’s a small business they genuinely care and that’s reflected in the staff and esthetic as well. They have fun but they do it well!“

“Paulie is an exceptional bar tender it's been a long time since I came to a bar and truly felt at home. If this bar continues hiring bartenders like this sky's the limit to where it can go to. I miss having bartenders like this.

“I love this restaurant. The food is so good. Sometimes we come here just for this restaurant and not even to gamble. They know how to fry really good here - fried chicken, fried fish, French fries, onion rings. Fried food is hit or miss but they’ve nailed it here. I get the fish and chips every time. My grandma has gotten the chicken tacos and the seafood pasta bowl, those are fantastic. My only complaint is the water here tastes very heavily chlorinated, it tastes like straight chemicals. I try to get lemonade but I can still taste the pool water through the lemon and sugar of the lemonade, and through the soda. The water issue is so bad that I actually will bring in my own water next time. We usually end up with the same waitress, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, she is always kind. This place is clean, food is great, lots of tvs for sports fanatics but we aren’t even big sports fans. We literally come here for the food. Thanks.“

“My husband is a picky eater and drinker, but we can always count on the food to be delicious and the service to be both friendly and competent. Tonight, my husband ordered a beer that they need to replace and they had issues getting the new keg open and they brought him a small sample of something similar, then when it took longer than expected they brought a slightly larger size, and when it became apparent they wouldn’t be able to get the beer he wanted open, he ordered a replacement of the sample in a larger size. The attentive service and kind gestures went a long way to making our evening more special because they could have just as easily said they were out and asked for his back up choice from the start. Well earned 5 stars. Our waitress, Ernestine, was a delight and the manager (?) or gentleman in the white collared shirt, Dom, was also very attentive.“

“This gem is tucked away on a corner street. It’s clean and dimly lit, with decent seating and two pool tables. The beer is cold, barman was cool, and the tables are well maintained. I only played pool for about 30 minutes before tournament players arrived, according to the lady who unlocked the tables so dont go on a Monday afternoon.“
