Love this place. Cheerful, prompt, tasty, and reasonably priced. Friend I was with highly recommends the Firecracker roll.
I order from them a lot through uber and they tend to ignore the notes I make in the app, I always ask for no wasabi because it’s too strong for me and I don’t like it when it touches my ginger or my sushi and it always comes with wasabi and this time it came RIGHT ON TOP of my ginger. I say no wasabi so I don’t waste it when there are people out there that actually like it and eat it. I hate the feeling of waste. So why ignore my note saying no wasabi? Just...read full review
Visited Gaya Sushi in mid-Sep 2026. It's located in a busy mini mall on Bainbridge and Loigheed with a smallish parking lot that's half-taken up by Tesla chargers.
When we arrived, it was fairly quiet but business picked up during the lunch rush. They have a fairly big sushi menu but also carry some other dishes as well. We wound up ordering the Dragon Roll ($12.95) topped with unagi and with imitation crab and avocado on the inside. It was a very creamy roll.
