Really nice location. Came here to celebrate my birthday and everyone was so attentive. Our waiter was very patient as it was our first time dining in this restaurant. Menu choice was a bit limited, but they tasted good! I ordered the new york steak while my friend ordered the duck breast. Portion was huge, the duck breast seems a little bit overcooked tho. My wife and I are really disappointed that the City of Burnaby and Horizons Restaurant on Burnaby Mountain could not come to an agreement for Horizons Restaurant to continue to operate their business after February, 2020.

I am sad that Burnaby has taxed them out of existence. (here come the condos and probably goes the open access to the wonderful view.) We will be able to go one last time before it's shut down. May I suggest they take the menu and apply it to the Hart House, which is run by the city of Burnaby. There is still a need for a decent higher end place to dine out and the Hart House has the smallest most boring menu I have ever seen.
