Minoa’s was a Family run authentic Greek restaurant run by Georgia, the family matriarch and her kids. The best Greek food in town. Sadly COVID lockdowns took their toll and their business never recovered its clientele, combined with increased operating costs. Georgia, so many happy memories of fine evenings at Minoa’s. Enjoy your retirement!
Not sure how this restaurant ranks as highly as it does in Burnaby, but I think part of it is nostalgia, as I know it’s been around for decades. My wife and I went here several times when we first met and got married about 30 years ago, but I’m not sure what’s happened since. Or, perhaps my memory is faulty. I just called to make a reservation and their answering machine says the business is closed for good. Very sad to hear. I always enjoyed their food and excellent service. Authentic Greek food - so yummy. Good luck to the family !
