“I ordered the signature malatang with less spice, and my friend ordered the sesame sauce spicy dry mix. I already had high expectations because some of my friends told me this is the number one malatang place.
It really hit the spot!! So delicious. The soup had rich umami flavor and paired well with all the ingredients. The spice level was just right for me since my stomach is usually too weak to handle spiciness.
I also tried some of my friend’s dish. She chose medium spicy. It was actually too hot for me, but still very tasty. Spiciness is very personal, so I recommend starting with your own comfortable level and then adjusting the spice level on your next visit. (Anyway, you’ll definitely come back!! ;))
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made my experience even more pleasant.
Also, the restaurant looked much more hygienic than other malatang places. Please keep up this great quality 🙏
The only thing I’d suggest improving is the meat container. It looked a little empty, and since the meat was rolled up, it was hard to tell how much I was actually getting.“

Have been there for dim sum lunches and everything is fantastic from the ha gow, chicken feet to their rice bowls.

But it's there dinner menu that really shines.
I highly recommend:
Lobster and Glutinous Rice steamed in leaves
Crab and Fish Maw Soup (Thick and Juicy)
Pea Tips (Glistening from the wok)
Baked Custard Pudding (for Dessert; must be ordered in advance .. but it's to die for!)

went out for dinner with friends and had some fresh sushi. The service was great—the servers were kind, attentive, and checked in to make sure everything was good.

We ordered a few different sushi rolls, and every single one was amazing. I got the BC roll and wasn’t sure if I’d like it because of the salmon skin, but I wanted to try something new. Honestly, it tasted great, and I really enjoyed it!“

“The BBQ pork is always up to standard. It's delicious and al dente. However the lady who served me today was so impolite. I requested less rice for myself and regular for my companion. I asked if I could get a bit more veggie while I requested for less rice. She immediately replied with her long face that you need to pay more for veggie! Ok fine I didn't want more veggie then. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? “I absolutely love their fresh sandwiches and soups all made from scratch and the menu is very affordable. My favourite sandwiches are the BBQ Pulled Pork and Pesto Chicken which is bursting with flavour. I love all of their soups although some of the soups are a little too salty for me. They also sell a lot of their soups in pouches that you can take home and warm up yourself which I like.“

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

“Had a nice Friday dinner with my fam as we were yearning for some warm comfort food. We have ate at a lot of other ramen places and this place is one of the good ones. Their broth is so umami and their cha Siu and noodle package is so tasty and delicious. Only downside is we dish their bowls were a bit bigger. We had their Tori Paitan and Tori Shoyu ramen including their tomago rice dish which was smoky and delicious. Their gyozas were tasty as well. Highly recommend this ramen place if you’re looking for a warm and delicious bowl of comfort food ramen.“

“So happy to see the restaurant was finally open again!
This is the best spot for Thai food in the city and I’ve travelled to Thailand many times. Food is authentic, delicious and well portioned.

The menu and taste were the same as previous restaurant if not better. I hosted a dinner party and everyone agreed it was some of the best Thai food anyone’s ever had.

We always order the drunken noodles, pad thai, red curry and vegetables. Food is always consistently well made. Thank you!“

“Wo’s Chinese Restaurant serves authentic Chinese food with flavors that feel traditional and satisfying. The wonton bowl is generous with plenty of wontons, which is a plus, but the amount of soup is quite limited. It would be better if a bigger bowl were used to accommodate more soup, or if wonton soup refills were offered when reasonably needed.

The restaurant could improve on cleanliness, as it doesn’t feel as well-maintained as expected. On the positive side, there is ample parking space available at the back, making it convenient for customers.

Overall, a good spot for authentic Chinese food, but some improvements in cleanliness and portion balance would greatly enhance the dining experience.“

Today is Friday, and the special menu is lasagna with garlic bread. The garlic bread was incredibly delicious and I definitely recommend this menu!😋“

“We keep coming back for more! Food takes around 15-30 min and has always been tasty for us, sometimes delicious. So far got butter chicken, curry, paneer pakora, and that green curry. Even though the floor is almost too open, the small area makes it feel cozy. And service depends on the waiter, but they've always tried their best for us. “I’ve been coming here for 7 years and counting. Ramen is consistently good each visit. Shio ramen is my favourite here. The broth is flavourful and creamy. Gyozas are crispy on the outside and meaty inside. Service is simple but quick. There is often a line up, although these days they’re not as long.“

Overall, the foods were like having a delicious homecooked Filipino feast with generous portions!

I chose a lunch special; they gave an in-house soup as a complimentary appetizer. It does remind me of having a veggie & Chinese shark fin soup, and it does taste great — it compensates my time of waiting for the main course 🍲

Then the pork adobo w/ lumpiang meal combo arrived. They were so savoury, really flavourful, and all well-cooked! Definitely an excellent value and worth the try 🍛 The portion size was like 2 servings worth, so it may be worth bringing a lunch box if eating alone (they charge $1 / container).

Then I had the buko pandan sherbet for dessert. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a nice coconuty creaminess. It's like a milkshake, but Filipino edition. 🍧 Also, it was a tall cup worth nearly 2 servings!

However, my only slight dislike was some handful of bubble tea pearls having the undercooked, gritty texture on their inner-center. I don't mind since that is a tolerable minor issue.

Service:
I went for a one person dine-in. After going through the menu, I waited for over 10 minutes, while seeing a group of patrons who were after me, already being serviced. Then I put my coat on and was about to leave till a server lady quickly attended me—I finally had my order taken. Moreover, the server staff don't really check up on the patrons, so I'd have to grab their attention if I wanted something. But they were cordial nonetheless, since they did, at least, provide the takeout containers as requested. In conclusion, the service can be frustrating at the start even if it's not too busy—from my own experience.“

Ordered the brisket and beef balls. Bowl came out within a few mins piping hot. Clear broth full of flavor, lots of onion and cilantro which I love! Usual garnish (sprouts, lemon and basil). Pork spring roll was okay, nothing special.“
