“Painter's Lodge is a staple of Campbell River fishing and scenic views for over a century now. All establishments have their ups and downs but The Tyee Pub as Painter's restaurant is on a high for sure! The pub is lovely and rustic and we sat inside with warm sunshine streaming in along with amazing panoramic views of the Strait of Georgia. Their patio is large and comfortable and offers the same scenic views. Our server Brittany 🤩 was super personable and very attentive (other staff and manager were attentive too). Menu is not extensive but offers a range of pub staples and excellent fish and chips. Specials are available to change things up. Drink menu was solid and spicy cesear with beans very tasty. As a family we were looking for the perfect venue that offers great service, tasty food (empty plates say it all) and beautiful views so we nailed it by selecting The Tyee Pub! I will absolutely go back when in CR and make it our goto for pub comfort and wicked views! Well done all round and easily 5/5 👏“
