“I can't stop thinking about the Mediterranean Pasta I had at the Wildwood. They easily veganized it for me and it was delicious.it is sometimes hard to find vegan dishes in restaurants/pubs in small cities.(except for the usual veggie burger). So I was thrilled! Thank you Wildwood staff! Keep up the good work/cooking.“

“my hubby wanted to celebrate his 65th and we decided to go to Strikers. Glad we did, fabulous service and food. portions were so big we took half home. hightly recommended“

“We dined here and didn’t expect how large the portions are. We started with nachos, and to our surprise, the serving was huge. We almost got full from just one order of nachos, and there were four of us.

The ribs and fish and chips were also the biggest we’ve ever seen and they were delicious. We ended up taking our main meal to go.

The staff was friendly.

I highly recommend this restaurant or pub when you visit Powell River.“

“We checked into this hotel today and couldn't be happier. The hotel and the rooms are extremely clean (we were in an executive room overlooking the courtyard), and we are very happy with the location, which is right next to all of the shopping. Claire at the front desk was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again the next time we are in Powell River.

Note: I'm not sure how this hotel only has a 3.9 rating. I've read some of the other reviews that say the rooms are dated, but that's so far from the truth. The hallways and rooms are modern and clean. This is an excellent, modern, and clean hotel, the low ratings definitely don't match our experience at all.“
