The room was standing room only and the only thing that took away from the fun was people hovering over us trying to share our table when there were no more seats to be had.
I was glad it was sold out for the comedian's sake, but would try to configure something so more guests could be seated if it was my establishment.

“This is a large restaurant and brewery. Great selection of brews, and cans to take home. I got the salmon burger and it was delicious. I got a flight and enjoyed the selection and tastes. I bought cans to go home to enjoy. My favorite was the berry beer. I had it in my flight, then got a pint, and took cans home. Servers were friendly!“

“These 5 stars are because of Julia, a server at Landlubber. She is one of the best servers ever. She gets to know her customers and treats them incredibly well with very quick and friendly service.
I've been to the landlubber several times, and I'm generally happy with food and service.
My friend Miranda is a regular there with the dart league and has told me, "I love my servers at many venues, but Julia is by far the best I've ever had."“

“On September 1st 2023 My friend and I went for lunch and sat out on the patio. The food was terrific and our waitress was amazing. We were reluctant to go there, but we decided to take a chance, and we are so glad that we did. This jewel of a pub will be our go to for our outings. I can't say enough about the great service we received. Thank you so much, it was a real treat.“

“This place used to be the bomb but the last few times I've tried to go have been terrible.

We ordered food for the last UFC event including some wings and burgers and they got everything wrong. Wrong flavours, wrong burgers, and everything was overcooked AF.

They have a wing special on Mondays but twice now we've tried to go and they're out of wings by 6:00.

This is not the same place it was pre-Covid.“

“I went in with a friend on my birthday to take advantage of the birthday discount, first time going here. Food was delicious, servers were attentive, good atmosphere. I had the prime rib and both it and the sides were amazing. I split the Chocolate Conspiracy dessert with my friend and it was a great end for the meal. Will definitely come back during Summer when I can enjoy the view/more daylight!“

“So this is a local pub with salty customers and amazing staff.

I didn't order the food this time around but I have in the past but I recommend looking at the daily specials because they are always a great price and tasty.
Good selection of local beers at a decent price.

“Our family went to this pub to celebrate Mother's Day. The food was excellent and the portions were large, the service was friendly and the server was very helpful as well. Sandra, our server, was a very nice and kind person. I have a sore throat and can't drink cold water. I just asked her to help me change the warm water, but she came back with hot water, honey and lemon. It was surprising how well she treated our family. Thank you so much for today, Sandra ???

“What a great little spot right on the waterfront! We dined on the patio/gazebo which was well sheltered from the wind and heated too. Service was excellent, very attentive throughout our meal and patient while we perused the menu options. I had the maple roasted garlic wings and a side of fries. The wings were sauced well, tender and crispy, and the fries were extra crispy! We ended the meal with a shared Nanaimo Bar, as you do when in Nanaimo. It was a great way to cap off the day after an adventurous whale watching excursion.“

“Stopped in here last night on a whim with two friends and had an excellent evening. The staff, Jason, was professional, warm, welcoming and funny and spoke so highly of both the owners and his fellow staff that I didn't want it to go unnoticed. From the quick service, to the great music and selection to of beers/alcohol it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we will be back.
