I love being able to sit outdoors on the patio or in the atrium as it can be noisy inside. The drinks are fabulous!“

“Brown Socialhouse in Nanaimo has been one of my go-to spots for the last 3 years, and it’s one of those places I always end up coming back to. We pretty much order the same thing every time—the Loaded Chicken Nachos, the Southwest Blackened Chicken Bowl, and the #28 Dragon Bowl—and they’ve never let us down. The portions are great, everything comes out fresh, and the nachos are honestly hard to beat. We usually grab a couple of drinks too, which always go well with the food.

What stands out the most, though, is the staff. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming, and the service has been consistently great every time we’ve visited. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed, which makes it an easy place to spend a couple of hours with friends. Definitely one of my favourite spots in town.“

We didn't have a reservation but didn't have to wait long at all.

“Hot summer late June day met the owner and was generously given 2 free servings of ice cream. I had the Nanaimo Bar one and my buddy had the cheese cake. Both were very good. Made with whole milk vs milk modifiers competitors use. 10 out of 10.“
